Dear Community,

Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Thank you.

vote on thank you cards

Ok, help me out here.  What do you think?  It is ok to write one general thank you for wedding gifts and type your name not signing it?  All opinions needed...this question is not from wedding but a wedding I was a bridesmaid in so be honest.  Thanks!

Re: vote on thank you cards

  • Seriously?  So someone just printed off a generic thank you note?  Is she 16?  Are you?

  • Yes, it was a generic note to people who attended and were not able to.  I was a little upset but didn't know if I was overreacting.  And no, neither one of us is 16.  :)
  • Absolutely not. This is not ok. Anybody planning to do this should just send back the gifts, since they're obviously not appreciated by the receiver.

  • Not acceptable in the slightest.
