A date Wednesday & a psychic reading
Hey girls, happy Sunday night!
Anyway, so last weekend, my bff begged me to come over for dinner and meet her husband's trainee at work. He is a state trooper and just trained a guy who left phys ed teaching and just became a trooper at age 31, same age as me. Anyway, my bff's H was so emphatic that I meet this guy, that he's well-spoken, respectful, thoughtful, sort of shy because he's respectful, good sense of humor, mature, and good looking. He said "I think so highly of you and I think very highly of him, you two have to meet!" and he has never ever tried to fix me up w/ anyone ever. Anyway, they have 4 kids (and the oldest is 5, youngest 6 mths old, one is my goddaughter and they all call me aunty) and it was mayhem at the house and that made hanging out and dinner much less awkward that I envisioned. They had him over to celebrate the end of his training and coincidentally, wife's bff would come over too!?!? Anyway, he was everything her H described him as and I definitely was interested in him. I guess at one point he almost asked me for my #, but was shy and the moment was interrupted by the kids. So, after I left, he asked my friend for my # and she said she expected him to call me soon! So....a week goes by and nothing. I was kind of bummed, but by Friday morning, I started to really give up.
Thursday night, I went to a psychic referred to me by a friend. I had never met her and I went alone. I met her at a coffee shop and she had me draw the cards 3x. Anyway, during two of the card draws, she saw "legal issues; law enforcement; interactions with the law of some kind...." and she said some other stuff that was pretty spot on too. She said she saw me with lots of new beginnings, perhaps a new job promotion or something making my workplace change (hello, year leave from school to go to Harvard!?!) and said she saw me moving (again, prob doing on campus housing part time next year since I live an hour away) and said she saw that I was going to be extremely blessed in my life. At some point in time, she'd pause, sit back, and ponder...then, she's lean in to me and ask, "Why do you fear never being happy?" and "Why do you think you're not good enough?" and it was so spot on about how I feel many times! Then she said "what you've been wishing and hoping for is coming, and it's better than you've imagined, so stop being impatient and just let life take its path..." and then again she said "Are you sure you haven't had to deal with law enforcement lately??" She told me to drive carefully and not get pulled over! And, then she said some of her feelings can surface up to a year away.
So, the next day, guess who contacts me? Law enforcement, the trooper I met! We have a date Wednesday night, can't wait!
