Re: what are you looking forward to this week?
I'm looking forward to not feeling like a$s sometime in the near future. I (and DH) ended up with a stomach virus over the weekend. I'm tired, hungry and pretty damn cranky.
Not a good start to the week so far, I hope it can only go up from here.
It will be 80 or very close to it Thursday and Friday.
My re-ordered new couch should be delivered Thursday, so I'm working from home.
We have date night on Saturday.
Stand up for something you believe in.
Congrats to both my TTC buddies, Amberley18 and sb2006 on their beautiful babies!
Wednesday, I'm meeting a friend to do some outfit shopping for the weekend
Friday, I have the day off to hang around and watch March Madness
Saturday, This months Girls Night, going out for St Pattys Day
not much going on here and I welcome that-
Tonight- returning some things to the mall that were given to Charlotte for Christmas (Williams Sonoma cake pans of Snow White and a cupcake set) I dont even want to keep them so she wont ask later down the road for mommy to make them and make them pretty
This is them- like I could even help with this -
rest of the week- enjoying the weather and working on the house.
it's supposed to be in the upper 60s-low 70s all week!
Selling off the last of my SP stuff today!
starting my audit at work
getting ready for Girl's Trip next week! My mom, sister, and cousin-in-law are coming out to visit over Spring Break!
Zumba, gym, Zumba, gym, Friday! I had a bad weekend diet and exercise wise but it was my birthday so I do not even care.
My judge is out all week because of the upcoming election so I'm on workation with very little actual work to do. I've got "The Hunger Games" in my bag and hope to read it this week.
At some point this week we'll have dinner with the bff's to plan out our DC trip and Saturday we have friends coming in from out of state that we'll get to see and hang out with for the evening.
Added bonus, my parents are in for the next 2 weeks, which does have some disadvantages, but I won't have to cook dinner at all because my mom is awesome!
75-80 degrees all week here. I predict some time outside for Ellie and I.
Hopefully no one else in my family (read: me) gets a stomach bug this week.
Since we missed bowling with our friends on Saturday due to Guy's pukey-ness, he promised to take me out for a steak dinner this weekend to make it up to me.
Since St. Patty's is on a weekend, I'm sure there will be beer.
I hope you feel better soon ! J had it last week and I had it over the weekend. The only silver lining is that it helped me lose some pounds and get me "that much" closer to my weightloss goal.
As for what I'm looking forward to: Friday. Not only b/c it's Friday but b/c we are getting Gabby's ears pierced. I originally had an appt for her on the 29th but her doc's office called and said they have an opening on Friday night @7.

Your doctor pierces ears? That's interesting. My cousins just have their babies' ears done at the mall.
Stand up for something you believe in.
I hear a lot of doctors offices do this- they make sure that things are sanitary and you don't have to take your child to a tattoo parlor..
Getting some sleep will be nice. I think I was so worked up about getting ready for therapy, getting ready for the vial drop-off, getting ready for Monday in general that I got really crappy sleep this weekend. We were talking so long last night we didn't end up going to bed until nearly 1am and had to be up at 6:15 to get to the appointment.
Other than that we are going to a play downtown on Thursday, which should be fun.
And I'm seeing my mom on Sunday. It will be good to hang out with her, I feel like it's been a while.
I have an appointment with my therapist tonight, and after everything that's happened over this last week/weekend, I'm really looking forward to unloading.
St. Patty's Day is Saturday, and we have various boiled dinner plans with family, and a 40th birthday celebration to attend the night of, so everything else going on this week is leading up to getting ready for that, including making sure my school work is done, as well as assuring I have enough green clothing (that fits) for the occassion.

Yup! I actually had my 1st ear piercings done by my pedi. back when I was a youngster. I like that it's not just some kid that had to take a quick course to learn to pierce ears. Also, if she has some adverse reaction, the doc is right there to check her (the nurse does the actual piercings but they only do them on days where they have 2 docs in office-just in case). A lot of docs actually do it but people just never think to ask.
