Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

An IJL update -aka I'm a glutton for punishment
They called me on Friday. I was supposed to email them with feedback on my date and I hadn't yet. I find it strange that they called me especially when they really sucked badly at returning my phone calls and emails. The conspiracy theorist in me thinks they read my blog post and that is why they called (they follow me on twitter and responded on twitter to my tweet about what a crappy date it was).
Anyway, they asked me 5-6 canned questions and we had a discussion about what I was looking for and how he couldn't be farther from it. She really seemed to "get it". I also told her I was only available for weekday lunches in the future and figured I had nothing to lose by giving it one more try. She said they usually like to spread the dates out with one every 3 weeks or so and someone would be calling me within a week or two to set up my next one.
Ten minutes later she called me back and said she thought of the perfect guy for me. She then went on and on about how great he was. She's supposed to email me today with details of our date. I'm going to give it another shot. Nothing to lose this time since my son is with his dad for spring break this week so I don't have to worry about a sitter.
My weekend dating update- The wrestler cancelled on Friday because he had to work late, I'm giving him another chance and we are having sushi tonight (excited! Love me some sushi) and I had another first date on Saturday - it was just meh. At least it wasn't bad, so we are moving in the right direction! (I updated my blog (link in siggy) with it but it's really kind of boring)
ETA: Yay for google voice! IJL date #1 texted me and it went straight to my google voice inbox!

Well, it sounds like they might make a decent effort. I'd give them this one last chance and see how it goes. Again, what do you have to lose?
