Clorox wipes

This may be asked a million times but I'm using Clorox wipes for the first time believe it or not.  It says can be used on SS and wood surfaces which makes me nervous. What surfaces do u use them on?

Re: Clorox wipes

  • Bathroom surfaces: shower/tub, toilet, vanity top, sink, light switches

Kitchen surfaces: laminate counter top, microwave inside/out, front of the fridge (white kind, not SS), light switches. I used them on my previous stove's stovetop; the new one is a glass top so I use special cleaner.

That's what I usually use them on.

  • Be careful when using them on some plastics. I used it to clean my cell phone once and it messed up the screen. :S

I don't know about SS, but they leave a lot of streaks, so I wouldn't just because of that.

So funny I was thinking about using them on my cell phone screen too. Thanks for the tip!

  • Bathroom: wipe off washer/dryer, counters

Kitchen: counters, appliances (We don't have SS.)

Others: Light switches and door knobs

I'm sure there are other things I use them on too.

I have used plain alcohol wipes (in the tiny square package) on my screen (covered by a thin screen protector) and it worked well with no streaks.

  • I guess the better question would be is what I don't use them on! They are used practically everywhere in my kitchen and the bathroom, as well as the tiled kitchen table, spills on the floor, wiping down light switches and door knobs.
