Trouble in Paradise
Dear Community,

Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Co Worker RANT

I work with a woman who is miserable 99% of the time. She barks at everyone, LOVES to point out mistakes and tattles on people all the time.  I happened to check my email this weekend and she had sent and email to her supervisor (someone who is chain of command below my position) stating that I didn't get back to someone and they came in angry etc...) the tone of this email was very accusatory like I am not doing my job and truly throwing me under the bus.  her supervisor then forwarded it to me and told me to "take care of this".  Just annoyed that a.) this woman would rather throw a co worker under the bus then help a member and b.) her supervisor is telling me what to do.  Never asking backstory etc. 

I just always try to help people.  I hate backstabby conniving coworkers. ANNOYING

  • Did you not follow up with the customer?  I've been chewed out by customers before b/c of co-workers mistakes and totally had it handled.

  • abbreviated version is I do childcare billing and her two kids didn't come to daycare for a few days because they were sick.  We do not offer refunds for missed days due to illness and I would say 99% of daycares are the same as ours.  I have spoken with this woman at legnth a few times and told her that my hands are tied, its in our handbook, its on the payment agreement she signed, its posted etc.  I told her that do have any authority to bend the rules and that she would need to speak with so and so.  She refused and has been literally stalking me daily.. barging in my office, calling me repeatadly. 
  • Communicate with her via e-mail, and cc her supervisor on everything.
