Looking for baby blanket crochet advice for a beginner
Hi Ladies! I usually post over on the bump but I figured I'd give this board a try. I took some crochet classes last summer and I know all the basic stitches but I am definitely very much a beginner. I hadn't touched any of it since getting pregnant but this week I practiced all the basic stitches and I feel pretty confident with them BUT all of the patterns stress me out so much because they seem so confusing!Does anyone know of a super easy baby blanket crochet pattern? I've tried searching youtube and I haven't found exactly what I want yet. Should I just forget the pattern and make up my own blanket using a combination of the stitches I know?I need something to pass the time for the next 7+ weeks until I have my baby! Thanks so much! Mommy's little helper
I agree that granny squares are easy, but I truly hate putting them together! That was my first project when my mom first taught me to crochet, and I think it turned me off to crochet for many years.
Definitely. I think a lot of people find putting them together a turn off.
Hi, I'm new here and also a new crocheter. I mean brand new; I just learned on the internet last week.
For my first project I'm making a blanket for my friend's fetus. The pattern is super easy so far, however I haven't made it to the edging yet so that is TBD.
