omg I have been such a slackass
I did workout 1 of nrol4w this evening. I have lost so much strength since I started training for my half last fall. I'm going to re-do the program. My new weekky schedule will be nrol x2, tempo runs x2, long run 8mi+ x1, Yoga x 1 and a rest day. I'm hoping this will work and help me be a bit more balanced with running/lifting. I am really considering marathon training starting in august, so I don't know what that will look like. But I think this will be good in the meantime.

Re: omg I have been such a slackass
That's basically the routine I was doing until I got injured my knees skiing and had to take a break. For me, two weightlifting workouts a week was best - it gave me plenty of time to recover from each one.
I'm annoyed about how much strength I'm losing right now too. I'd hoped to go back through the program again almost immediately after finishing it, but for the last 6 weeks, all I've done is some fairly random and light upper body lifting.
