Happy Tuesday!
Last night was a pretty good night. I made one of kaesha's delicious blog post recipes (pasta w/ kale, sundried tomatoes and bacon, yumm) and it pretty much made my night. I've made that dish a million times and love it each and every one.
Then I finished up the painting in our spare room. That room is now done and ready for carpet! Wooo! 1 down, 2 to go. Derek got the baseboard down in the nursery, so tonight I'll probably work on that while he gets the baseboard done in the master. I'm going to need a hot bath by the end of this week!
How is everyone today?

We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

Re: Good Morning!
Hello ladies! We got home from Bordeaux late last night, and other than being exhausted, we had an awesome weekend. The weather was great, and it's a beautiful area of the country. We stayed at a chateau across from a vineyard, which was so nice to wake up to and look at every morning. The wine was good, or so DH says :-) At least it smelled good to me.
No time change for us yet, which is nice since that means there's an hour less time difference with the US/Canada for the next two weeks!
I'm heading out right now for our second u/s. I'm nervous for no obvious reason, and just hoping the little bean is looking good.
Cecilia arrived 12 October 2012
Sushi, vibes for your u/s! Give us an update on your little bean when you can.
Good morning, all. The weather here is gorgeous, but it's driving my allergies crazy. Either that, or it's coinciding with a cold (no good, I have a half-marathon on Saturday).
Last night was nice--Josh called from Tucson to say hi, and then I called my parents to say hi. Low key evening overall.
Today just plugging away; tonight a trip to the gym and then a quick dinner thanks to my husband's excellent chicken parm. Have a great day, all.Good luck, sushi!
Nothing much happened last night. I'm supposed to go play pub quiz tonight. That's about as exciting as it gets.

Good luck today, sushi! Keep us posted.
My night was quiet. I felt incredibly exhausted last night. I cooked dinner and went to bed early. Tonight I have dinner cooking in the crockpot. I'm really hoping to get in a good workout since I won't have to cook dinner. We'll see though. My motivation has been practically nonexistent lately, but I really need to get back into the routine.
Good luck sushi! I'm nervous every time I have a u/s, if it makes you feel any better!
I had a terrible night sleeping last night, so I'm feeling off with that right now. Also, I just made a pot of the weakest coffee in existence (I was aiming for the opposite), which makes me less than thrilled. Aaand, my toast just popped and it's burned.
At least it's March Break!
I'm either going to hit up the market today, or I'm going to go down Queen and hit up some fabric stores for material for a rag rug.

I am back!! My phone broke this weekend and I was off yesterday so I didn't get to post.
Good luck Sushi.
Last night I took my phone to get fixed and that was about it. I am looking for some mario fabric to make Jordan a valance curtain for his new room, but I had no luck yesterday so I am hoping to find some this weekend.
Tonight I plan to cook and get things ready for Jordan's first baseball practice tomorrow afternoon. He is really excited.
Good morning ladies.
My older sister called me last night and gave me some really good financial advice to clear our debt. She just became a financial consultant and is doing so well. She's done everything possible to help us clear debt, get started on buying a house, help us save and get the boys' RESP account switched over. It's exciting!
Russ comes home from work today and I couldn't be happier to see him. He's been struggling to fight food poisoning while at work. He never gets sick so seeing him will be a relief knowing he's ok. The boys went to sleep really early last night so it was nice to hang out with my sister without the kids screaming for once. I have a couple things to do today, like taking Russell's skates to get sharpened and finish washing his stinky hockey gear. It's so gross! I don't know why the guy doesn't wash it more often. Then I have a little cleaning to finish up from yesterday. Just the little things, like mopping the floors, trying to clean the tv and cleaning the kids rooms.
Like always, I won't be around much this next week. Have a great day and week gals!
Good morning.
Sushi - good luck today, please keep us posted.
Lastnight was the same old routine, however there was outside playtime with the boys, which was fun. I can't wait for the weather to get even nicer. The boys love being outside.
Today, I have lunch with my mom and sister. Since my sisters birthday is this weekend, I had the boys color all over her birthday card, and make her each a colored picture. I know she will love it, and I am anxious to give it to her. I am also to see her since she has been getting iron infusions, and hasn't been feeling the best.
Otherwise, this evening will be the typical routine, except since DH will be home, I think I will get him to do the night time routine. It will not only give me a small break, but I think it's great bonding time with the kids.
Have a great day ladies.
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
Good luck Sushi, can't wait to hear how the u/s goes!
Good morning. As much as I hate daylight savings time every morning, I sure love it all the sunlight in the evenings! Last night I went for a hike in a canyon near our house, it was so much fun and the weather was perfect. Then I made one of our favorite dinners (turkey burgers stuffed with green chilies and cream cheese and sweet potato fries), then we had a little ST, and off to bed!
Today is payroll day so I have a crap ton to get done. Tonight I'm hoping for a good work out, a quick dinner, and an early bedtime.
good luck sushi! fingers crossed for you & your bean!
last night was pretty good - DH skipped class, so we got to spend a little time together. we watched Walking Dead from Sunday night. and holy crap. this season rocks - I can't believe the season finale is next week!
no big plans tonight. I need to repaint my chalkboard so I can finally do some weekly bump pictures without using a mirror. DH seems less than thrilled about having to take pictures of me every week, but he'll get over it.

Good morning, ladies
I gave Cheddar and Muenster some catnip last night. They're so funny - they spilled the bowl on the floor and rolled around in the catnip. They they chased each other until they were out of breath.
Not much going on here, except temperatures close to 70* all week long. Makes it very hard to stay indoors all day - I want some sunshine!
Good luck sushi with the u/s!
Today, little spud is officially half baked, and tomorrow, DH and I go for the a/s. I'm super excited, even though we won't be finding out if it's a girl or boy. Aside from that, not too much going on here. I'm determined to have a productive day at work.
Hope everyone has a good one.
I'm so tired. Looks like my non-sleeping nights are back. It might have something to do with being stuck in Hunger Games excitement, but we'll see. One more book to go after this and then maybe I can finally sleep again. haha.
So glad the warm weather is finally here. I took Jackson outside last night to play, and he slept like a rock. I think the fresh air knocks him out pretty well. Hopefully we can get a repeat all week long. I'm super pissed at the dogs, though. I had to run inside to grab a different toy, and when I came out a whopping 20 seconds later, someone had peed on the blanket. Some days I just want to murder them.
I'm super pissed that HIMYM has been repeats for a few weeks. I hate when series decide to run reruns in the middle of the season. Just keep giving me new episodes and cut the season short. Fine by me.
Sushi, hope your u/s went well!
We had a fun play date with our friend. She didn't even open the gift while I was there but I"m sure she'll like it. Gosh it's so gorgeous outside. Maybe I should take the kiddo to the playground for his first time on the swing!

Last night my on call wasn't too bad. I only had 3 calls and they were all pretty easy to solve.
We also watched The Walking Dead from Sunday night and it was AWESOME. Can't wait for next weeks season finale.
I didn't get to bed until pretty late last night so I was tired this morning and had to work at 7am. Work was just okay. March break is always busy for us.
Since it's so beautiful outside, I made DH go for a walk with me outside. Tonight I might start on some of my thank you cards from the baby shower. That is all for now.
