I didn't know, I just did. (Yoga + Running)

This site explains a yoga system set up for runners. Now, I consider myself a yogi who runs. May be I am on the late ship. What do you think? Are you a runner who does yoga? Are you a yogi who dabbles in running (like myself)? Are you considering adding yoga or running to your exercise schedule?
Re: I didn't know, I just did. (Yoga + Running)
I'm more of a yogi who is trying to also be a runner (I've been running much longer than I've been doing yoga, but I've just been much more successful at yoga than running...
). My studio has a yoga for runners and athletes class which is described as follows "uses a variety of yoga postures and pranayama breathwork to help
athletes learn to ease various imbalances - e.g. joint pain, shin
splints, and tight hamstrings - while increasing flexibility, agility,
endurance, lung capacity and strength".
It's a great class, although I don't take it regularly, and I think that description probably makes it make more sense to me (it's a yoga practice designed specifically to heal and prevent injuries common to running, etc.). However, I do find that a regular yoga class still provides plenty of benefits as well.
I love both practices and find them to be good compliments to each other!
