Spending spring break in Wolf Creek. Great snow, but a very challenging mountain. Many of the blues here would be classified as blacks anywhere else - fairly steep moguls. Some of the single blacks were kind of scary to me. We were at Taos over Christmas, which is supposed to be a difficult mountain, but I think was quite a bit easier than this. At least you knew what you were getting in to on a given trail.
Has anyone else noticed this, or am I just getting old?
Re: Wolf Creek
I love Wolf Creek it's one of my favorite mountains! They actual have some decently steep slopes. It does have some challenging runs never thought the blues should be blacks, but I'm a pretty advanced skier and love a challenge.
