Is anyone still watching "The Walking Dead"? (spoilers)
I sort of watch while Tim does, but I honestly can't stand these people anymore. There's not one redeemable character. But when did Shane get bit?! Did I miss that?

He didn't. They're turning without getting bitten. It's because they're all carriers of the disease and it's activating when they die.
I think the guy in the CDC told Rick that, but I know that that's how it works in the books. DH and I called it "going all Dawn of the Dead" where you don't need to be bitten to become a zombie. Randall turned when his neck was broken and there were the two guards at the community building who had turned without bites but Shane and Rick assumed they'd been scratched.
I'm happy they're finally killing people off. Also, it's redeemed itself because there are actually zombies now. I was reffering to it as "Little House on the Zombie Apocolypse" earlier in the season because it was just people walking around on a farm.

Shane was never bit. they didn't get all explicit about it, but in that last episode and maybe hints a little earlier, they are slowly learning that being bitten is not required to turn. Remember when Darryl inspected that kid who they were holding hostage in the barn with his neck snapped, he said "there are no bites anywhere on him. he died from the broken neck". so they are going to have to revise what they think is causing the dead to roam the earth.
a couple weeks ago Derek went to the comic book store and picked up the first three books, which revealed to us that shane's life on the show GREATLY outpaced his book life. i'm glad they finally got rid of that psycho. he did get way more psycho though.
lol! I hate Carl. And Lori and Rick. And everyone.
Shane never got bit. That was the big reveal or whatever of the last few episodes. Everyone is a carrier or something because now even if you die of other causes, you turn into one of them (the water station employees, the kid who Shane took out into the woods and snapped his neck, Shane).

I am...I'm not caught up, though, so I averted my eyes from everything except the reply button (and I see the word "house" now).
So I can't chat yet, but I will be able to shortly.

I also really hate Lori what kind of crap mother isn't paying attention to their kid during a zombie attack? The kid has already been shot once keep a leash on him or something.

The only person I like is Daryl. Carl needs to be killed off already...really. He's so obnoxious. I cannot get over how Lori doesn't notice he's missing all. day. every. single. day. Like really? But I guess it's not like they're living in the middle of a zombie apocalypse or anything.
I'm glad Shane is gone too - he was losing it big time. I can't wait to see the next episode! Even though I can't stand any of the characters left (except Daryl), I still can't stop watching it. Like a trainwreck...
