In October my girlfriend and I went to Vancouver, B.C., and thanks to the recommendations from here we had a great little trip -- Granville Island, Capilano Suspension Bridge, and largely just hanging out at our cheapie hotel chatting, and stumbling upon some neat places in nearby Yale (like the Flying Pig restaurant, yum!!).
Now I'm looking for even more, new/different, suggestions for a larger group of people. It will likely be a five guys, two girls road trip. Guys are geeky and not super outdoorsy, although I think they'd all be into the Capilano suspension bridge, but I'd rather do things I haven't done before.
Suggestions of things to do, places to eat, etc.? Guys are pseudo-foodies, so fun restaurants are a must. We aren't sure yet when we'll be going, but I expect it to be this spring/early summer. This was actually my DH's idea, but he's the only slacker without a valid passport, so we're dependant on him getting it renewed.
Re: Vancouver, B.C. (again!)
This tour gets rave reviews:

The owner of the company is amazing.
Hmmm, well here's a few restaurants you may want to consider based on your peeps -
Sanafir: Went there for my sis's b'day. It's a really nice exotic restauranty/lounge with kind of a Morrocan style, they have these cool "dining beds". We ordered a bunch of yummy tapas and cocktails, it was fun! www.glowbalgroup.com/sanafir
Sophie's Cosmic Cafe: pretty funky/retro kind of restaurant, very popular for breakfast, huge portions. www.sophiescosmiccafe.com
The Elbow Room Cafe: cheap food, with hilarious waiters

To do:
Science World can be fun, even for grown ups, I like it, lol: www.scienceworld.ca
Vancouver Art Gallery, my bro loves it, I've never been: www.vanartgallery.bc.ca
Vancouver Aquarium, www.vanaqua.org
I'll try to think of some more. Where will you be staying? Will you have a car?
