GTG - can't do it...
so my grandfather died today.
looks like we'll be going to NYC later this week for the burial, etc - I think I'll be back in time, but I just can't host...I know it will just be too much for me to juggle with being gone most of the week...

yup, my one last grandparent. he would have been 95 in May...we might need help with Stella if PetsMart can't keep her, but I can't imagine they'd have issues.

2012 Reading Challenge
Thanks ladies...in some ways it was a relief. My parents were planning to sit down with him this week to take the car away. They found out his ladyfriend had not let him drive in over two years. He didn't turn his head at all in the car, he had no business driving.
Luckily, he just died in his sleep it looks like, it happened pretty fast and my mom got him on lots of morphine as soon as they got to the hospital so he was not in pain. And technically he wasn't alone, the plumber was doing work at their house. But my dad was the one that found him which I know was hard for him.
I feel bad that I didn't take a picture of him with Ada when I was up there last month. Boo.
