How difficult do you think this looks?

And, by that question, I mean, do you think it looks easy enough for a newbie like me to handle. On the one hand, I just keep thinking: it's braiding! How hard can that be? On the other... well... things never work out according to plan, KWIM?

Re: How difficult do you think this looks?

  • That's a really cute rug idea! I don't think it looks that difficult, I think you should be fine. It may take a while to get started and get the hang of it but after you do I think it would come together pretty fast. Good luck!

  • Cute!  The instructions look very detailed, with lots of pictures.  I pinned it to make someday.

  • It actually seems really confusing if you're reading it, but I'm sure there are some youtube tutorials online to show things better. It doesn't actually seem that complicated, just time consuming. I bet it would be a good way to get rid of some old t-shirts and such. I'd love for you to report back on how it goes. We've been looking for a soft rug for Jackson's room, and this might be the ticket.

  • It looks totally doable. Possibly annoying to tuck in all those ends if I'm reading the instructions right. But it's totally worth a shot - what have you got to lose, right?

  • I don't think it would be that hard, but I haven't braided four strands before.  I'd give it a try.
