  • Love this post. I was just thinking yesterday that my list is getting tired. Here's some of my utterly random songs:

    1. Footloose - seriously, I'll repeat it 5-6 times
    2. Stronger - Kanye West
    3. Honky Tonk Badonkadonk (sp?)
    4. Single Ladies
    5. It's my Life
    6. F*ck You
    7. So What
    8. Grease Megamix
    9. Born this Way
    10. That new J-Lo/Pitbull song
    11. Bad Romance
    12. Sin Wagon
    13. I run for... - Melissa Etheridge
    14. I love Rock n Roll
    15. Call Me

  • Basically anything that gets me up and dancing.  Lots of stuff by Black Eyed Peas, Lada Gaga, etc.

And on the cheesy side -

    "Eye of the Tiger"

"This is My Now" - Jordin Sparks.  I blame Biggest Loser for this, they used to use this when the contestants were running their final marathon or whatever and show them all at the beginning of the season and then running.  It always inspires me.

    Kelly Clarkson - Stronger

Nickelback -  Shakin' Hands (most of the Dark Horse album)

Linkin Park - Bleed it out

  • SFL!  As soon as my iPod is charged, I'll add mine - I just revamped mine for the Disney Princess Half and it worked pretty well for me.
  • Just want to plug a different idea for you - podcasts! I have recently worked out to This American Life and Allison Rosen is Your New Best Friend, and both keep me engaged and entertained without letting me count songs to determine how long I've been running.

I freely admit that I think podcasts slow me down a touch, but I also tend to be able to run for a longer time without stopping than when I listen to music.

That said, I love Kelly Clarkson's Stronger, Jordan Sparks Love You LIke a Love Song.

Warning No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
  • You guys are AWESOME!!!

    Keep em coming!!!

Do you listen to a different playlist when lifting weights? Or just cardio at the gym?
