I was so excited to see Karen sing Shake It Up. I love that song! It was a bit different than Florence's awesome voice, but still good.

This episode seemed a bit all over the place, but I'm still into it.

It's hard to buy Debra/Julia doing this... except for the fact that she already has. But it's different since the audience didn't see her or "know" her back then.

The weird assistant is bugging the crap out of me! And since he is everywhere why isn't everyone else's assistant everywhere?

Ivy irks me too. Really irks me.

That being said, I still enjoy the show. I know people are disliking or indifferent to it but I still really like it. I've always loved Katharine McPhee's voice and look and I tend to enjoy the music. And I love Debra, even though she is a cheater. Smile

I really like this show!

I can't stand Ivy or the fact that everyone seems to love her so much and be on her side.

I love how supportive Karen's boyfriend seems to be, and I hope she doesn't mess things up with him. (or vice versa)

I'm wondering how much longer it'll take before the director is fed up with Ivy. As I recall, she wasn't his original choice for the part until he started sleeping with her.

I'm shocked at how far Julia let the affair go, and I'm also surprised her son didn't let her know he saw them kissing outside. They'll probably drag that out for a few more episodes.

Ivy can be a total *** but I love her as Marilyn. Everytime they show Karen in the Marilyn getup I just think she looks ridiculous. She's a great singer but she is no Marilyn. I'm sure the shnow will end with something happening with Ivy and Karen taking over as Marilyn but I just don't feel it.

I love Tom, he may be my favorite part of this show. Especially last week with the storyline with Leo.

Karen's boyfriend is great. I agree with pp, I hope they don't mess things up between them.

I know he's supposed to be the "villian", but I kind of love Derek. Maybe its the accent, I'm a sucker for accents.

I would be rooting for Julia and Michael if it weren't for the whole cheating thing. It makes me wonder where the show is going with this. Do they really expect us to root for them? I feel like they want us to but its so so wrong.

I'm surprised Ivy has all these loyal friends. She's such a drama queen. I'm hoping that she is only being this way because she wants to be so much like Marilyn. I don't expect her to be a big fan of the directors now that she's made a scene and called them out for sleeping together. At the very least they will stop sleeping together and he will stop babying her.

I'm wondering how long Karen's boyfriend is going to put up with the long rehersals. I feel like they are trying to hint at Karen or the boyfriend cheating. Karen already knows that her boyfriend didn't get the job he wanted, and he's good friends with that female reporter.

ITA. When Karen as Marilyn was in Ivy's mirror, she looked terrible.

I really enjoyed this episode. I definitely like the show more each week.

That last scene with Julia and Michael was ridiculous. Why was she walking around in her pajamas? Why was she standing there with her shirt open/off forever?

I also hate the assistant, Ellis. Annoying!

Julia and Michael-least sexy sex scene ever. Seriously. And also Michael is starting to get a little psycho stalkerish.

I enjoyed Ivy's freakout on Derek though.

I agree. I think she feels incredibly threatened by KAren which is why she acts like such a diva ***.

Ellis is weird and annoying. I could do without him running around eavesdropping and telling secrets.

Derek is charming to me. He's brutally honest. A lot of people don't like that, I think it makes him sexy. lol

Michael is creepy. Yes, he has an amazing voice and body. But how many times did Julia tell him to stop, leave her alone, don't call, don't come to my house. I found his persistence to be incredibly disturbing. When they were about to have sex and he asked if he could keep going and she said "Yes" I didn't believe she meant it.

I really like Karen and her boyfriend, I hope they don't have trouble or cheating paranoia issues. They are both working hard, long hours. Hopefully they are strong enough to not start falling apart.

I loved Eileen falling in love with the dive bar. Not really believable, but sweet and funny.

This exactly! Ivy is a hot mess, but it's fun to watch her unravel.

The Michael/Julia thing is weird. It's like condoning rape. "No" means "Keep Trying!" When Julia goes to meet Michael, she is practical crying, begging him to leave her alone, so he just tries harder. Then, after the do it, it's all flirty eyes and smiles and all is good. It's just weird and makes me feel squicky inside.

Other than that, I love the show! I want to hear more Marilyn music!
