3.14! Wooo math!
Today should be a good day, Tim is coming over after work to help bring home our kitchen countertops. Wahoo! Now I need a sink. And a backsplash. And appliances. And THEN the kitchen will be done.
Tonight is also our last prenatal class. Hopefully countertop stuff doesn't take too long so Derek can come too/not be late.
Last night was quite productive. Derek ended up getting off work at 11 am due to some leakage issues, so he got quite a bit of work done before I got home. Our carpet install is officially scheduled for Tuesday next week. I got the trim all painted in the nursery last night and Derek removed the carpet and screwed down the subfloor in the master. We're officially sleeping with our mattresses on the floor for the next week to save an extra bed assembly/dis-assembly.

I was in early this morning so I have every intention of being out the door early this afternoon. It's way too nice to be inside. We even had the patio door open last night until about 10:30 p.m.
I came in third at trivia last night, so no cash prize for me. I had a perfect round on entertainment (usually my worst category) and zero on arts and literature (usually better). If it hadn't been for that round, I could have won because it was very close.
Today we have a staff meeting, which is really a-sit-around-and-listen-to-the-boss-talk meeting, because he doesn't want to hear from any of us. He just likes to hear himself talk. Also, the lobster truck is going to be outside my office today, so I think a lobster roll is in order for lunch. I love D.C. food trucks - hope the line isn't ridic.

We're in moving mode this week, so things are a little crazy. I'm WFH today while the movers pack up our flat. It's 2pm and they're pretty much done - I wish I was that productive when I pack! Tomorrow will be the move and then the fun of getting unpacked and settled in begins. Hopefully we'll get most of it done this weekend so we can get all the boxes out of the flat.
The weather has been pretty nice here, and we'll finally have outdoor space, so we may start looking at a bbq and patio furniture sooner rather than later. It's sad how excited we are about that!

Good morning, ladies
No spin class this morning - just wasn't feeling it. So I got ready at home while DH did P90X and made me feel like a complete slacker loser. I'm so down today, for no particular reason. Boo, me. And, I made cupcakes and lemon blueberry bread for the bake sale at work today, and because I didn't taste anything I'm paranoid that everything sucks and I'll make someone sick with my pathetic attempt at baking. I can't decide if I need a pep talk, or a good cry. It doesn't help that it's going to be 70* today and I can't leave my office for the next 12 hours.
/end pity party. 8-(

Kyle had his three month review this morning (even though he's been there closer to 5 months now). If everything went well he should be getting a raise. He tried calling to tell me how it went but I was in a meeting. I'm free now and anxiously waiting to hear back from him.
Nothing too exciting planned for me tonight. Hopefully a workout and some TV time. Last night I addressed invites for my future SIL's bridal shower.
Good morning ladies! I am in a really good mood this morning despite the fact that preston was a whinny crabby little boy this morning until we got to daycare and mimi (the lady he stays with) was outside and let him help water the plants.
There were only 2 other kids at daycare yesterday so he got to stay outside all day and got spoiled rotten. I am sure today will be the same. I love spring break and only having to get one kid up and dressed and dropped off. Last ngiht was very productive and I got all my cleaning and cooking done for the week.
Tonight is Jordan's baseball practice and I have to meet our contractor with the final paperwork for him to fill out this week when he gets finished at the house. Super excited about that.
Just general lounging tonight. I'm getting frustrated that DH doesn't help out when he gets home lately. He's been trying to fix a computer that he got from work, among other random little projects. He ends up hanging out in the basement until I'm done getting all the animals situated and into bed. Then he just swaggers into the bedroom and starts snoring immediately. I just want to jump on his balls and scream.
Thankfully, our amazing weather is keeping me in good spirits. i'm pretty sure the only reason I was able to drag my butt out of bed this morning is because I knew I had shaved last night and could wear a skirt and tank to work today. Can't wait for lunch to come so I can bask in the sunshine for an hour. Hopefully more play time when I get home tonight with the bub. He loves to be outside now, and it's great. The dogs get in some good run time as well.
Eee, what a gorgeous day! My plans originally involved going down to Lee Valley (a woodshop/hardware/building supplies [ish] place) to pick up some handles for my dresser project, but my stomach is feeling off right now, so I'm going to hold off a bit and see where that ends up. I may just walk over to the flower markets and pick up some blooms for the mantle. Either way, today is the kind of day for a walk with flip flops on.
I'm halfway through the initial drawing stage of my paint by numbers project. I picked up the paint for it yesterday, so I'm excited to start the painting phase of that!

Good morning. It's a gorgeous day here, too--we had our staff meeting outside, which was pretty nice.
Last night was good--I called my older brother to chat for a while, then did a workout at the gym. After that it was more chicken parm for dinner and then tinkering around with my short story for class. Nearly done with it ... I think.
Tonight will be low key. I may go to the gym, but I'm also thinking about getting to DSW to find some cute walking shoes that I can wear on my commute, especially with a dress. And also check out the new sandals they might have.

Good morning. Last night I took advantage of the beautiful weather and went for a really long walk and barely made it back to my house before dark. It felt so good to get out and move in the sunshine.
Today I'm having lunch with a couple of coworkers at a new Mexican place with a great patio. I'm sure lunch is going to be a really fun venting *** fest about some other coworkers who are driving us crazy. Tonight I'm planning another long walk, a quick dinner, and hopefully a little relax time.
Les - big hugs, I hate when I have days like that. I hope you get outside and get some fresh air. It always seems to help me.
My evening was great. The boys were out most of the day at daycare so they were pooped when I picked them up. DH was grilling when I got home, so we continued to play outside until it was time for dinner. Bonus, the boys went down at normal time, and fell asleep by 7:30, which was the first time since the time change.
Tonight I have to get at least one load of laundry done, and of course get some play time in with the boys. Same old routine in my house.

Last night I worked on thank you cards from the shower and made DH go for a walk with me because it was so beautiful outside.
It's another beautiful day again today. I got up and hit the treadmill and then was off to work. It was a pretty decent day all around but now I'm on call. Hoping any calls are easy to deal with. I wanted to work on more thank you cards tonight but now I'm waiting for DH to finish dinner and he invited a friend over for 7:30pm.
