Okay so apparently it's like an online yearbook? You sign up based on the year you graduated high school and people can follow you. It's a way to spy on people you went to school with without being FB friends.
Hmmm.
That's creepy. I had a message this morning from one of FI's friends who wanted me to approve one of my photos of us for friend's "schoolfeed." I was like WTF? Then I went to FI's page and there's "Join schoolfeed!" all over his page from various people he went to HS with. FI didn't know what it was either.

Oh barf. Seriously. If I didn't keep in contact with them from high school (meaning they are not already on my friends list) then odds are I don't know them well enough.
Just stop fooking around FB. Leave things alone. Its not NEW, FUN, or COOL. Its annoying.
Same thing with you, Nest. Quit trying to "fix" things that aren't broken.

I'm glad that I have my FB page hidden.
I didn't keep in contact with those people for a reason. About 2 mos ago I had some guy I went to grade school with send me a message. He's friends with one of my FB friends and saw my name. I have no desire to chat with him. It's been 30+ yrs since I've spoken to him and we were never friends. I cordially replied back with a brief "hey, nice to see you" and he continued to send me messages and sent a friend request. I stopped replying and never friended him.
