New Girl - 3/13 Spoilers

I LOVED that we got a Schmidt episode. I was dying the entire episode! Everything about Schmidt being outside with Jess was amazingly hilarious and I LOVED that he joined the drum circle. Also, the slap fight with Nick and Winston was brilliant!

  • Also, with Jess's hutch, I loved that Schmidt described Pine as "the wood of poor people and outhouses." Man, I love him!

  • I have such a hard on for Schmidt it's not even funny.  "I'm wearing my slipperiest loafers!"  He is so classic.

Agreed, the bitchfight between Nick and Winston was hilarious. And the petty keeping tabs...too funny.

Random - after seeing Nick in the scene with his shirt off, I think he has really wierd chest hair - it kind of freaked me out.

  • Such a great episode! Schmidt it is by far my favorite character. And the scene in the gif you posted made me laugh so loud I woke my kid up!

I'm not a big Zooey Deschanel fan, and I didn't really think I would like this show that much, but it gets better every single week!

  • I thought they couldn't top the song from last week, but the slap fight and bongo drum Schmidt took the cake.

    It was hilarious!

  • Schmidt is my favorite, and an episode all about him is bound to be awesome. I was laughing the whole time. Starting with him giving CeCe his loafers because he'd rather get a tetnus shot that ruin the suede, and that pine is the wood of poor people and outhouses. I was dying. It's fun to watch the whole dynamic of how the guys have evolved into their own family- playing baseball with heads of cabbage when Schmidt moved in, how he is their mother.

  • I freaking love this show. Schmidt's one liners always crack me up. I love the dynamics and that they haven't tried to make it about Jess and one of the guys falling in love or sleeping together. I feel like when they start to allude to that sort of thing, they easily bring it back to "normal".

Exactly right.  And how Schmidt started out as the geeky fat kid.  Now he's cooler than he knows. :)
