Get the book.
Yes, I know, you aren't trying to go vintage and have no use for victory curls BUT there is a huge ass section on how to roll your hair to get different types of curls and wave patterns. It's amazeballs.
And most of the styles can be used for contemporary looks anyway. Just don't do the victory rolls. lol
Re: All my hot roller girls
I didn't realize so many other people who hot rolled. I thought I was the only one. I still have an old azz set-n-go from the 80's. I need to upgrade.
I cannot be the only one who thought this post was going to be about this:
Ooooh! Love it.
I just realized a bad thing about my red hair though. No old men telling me I look like Veronica Lake. Not that I ever actually looked like her, but at least the blonde curls kind of sold it. Booooo
No Broc, it's about these...
and these...
Or am I the only one that still spiral rolls?
Roller derby is coming to town in May and I wanna take pinkers. She would love it.

Motz I posted these in the Say Anythings thread but these are the ones I use:

I have those too. Now that my hair is much shorter, they work much better for me. I had them in only 5 mins and my hair got really curly and stayed the majority of the day.
That has never happened to me before! I had only used them on my really long hair prior to yesterday.
I'm going to check out your link when I get home tonight.
