  Oh man, that's depressing. And she's kidding herself if she thinks he's been a "perfect bf" up until now: she even posted about him yelling at her for not doing dishes when she had the flu! He's an ass, she needs to go back to school, they really really should not be having a child.

  I don't feel all that bad for her.  No one holds a gun to your head and forces you to have sex, especially with a misogynistic douche, when you're a minor.  Or, rather, sometimes they do, but that doesn't seem to be the case here.  And don't even get me started on how she thinks she's so much more mature than her friends because they didn't make a damn mess of their lives.

  I really feel sorry for the child, more than anyone. If they considered adoption, perhaps the child would have a chance of having parents that are ready to PARENT, and have some modicum of maturity.

  I wondered about this too. In a lot of the districts I've covered, community colleges give you a moderate scholarship and pretty much as long as you graduate, you get it. I think it might be something like that.

  Sadly, I might have put up with that at her age. Now? I'd say that's asking for a punch in the balls. Hopefully he snaps out of it, or she takes the gamble, realizes she can raise her child without him, and leaves him to pursue her education or something else she won't likely regret later in life.

  I agree with the adoption sentiment.  She needs to get out of that place ASAP.  Her boyfriend is not going to change.  If there's one good thing about this, it's that they haven't gotten married yet so she really can just cut and run.
