Edinburgh hotel recs

DH and I are thinking of a long weekend in June in Edinburgh.  Any hotel recs and/or restaurant recs you ladies could give me I would appreciate it.

  • We were just there over Christmas and stayed at the Radisson Blu on the Royal Mile, and it was perfect. Great location, walkable to the train station, I am 99% sure there is a bus right by the train station that goes to the airport as well. You can walk to Edinburgh Castle, or walk to Princes Street for shopping.

We ate at Wedgwood one night and it was literally like a block from the hotel, and it was awesome. So, so good.

  • We stayed at the Balmoral and loved it. Same neighborhood as pp.
  • We also stayed at the balmoral and loved it. They do packages all the time that are good deals and will include breakfast and/or dinner, etc for the same cost as the room.
