My boss was off sick yesterday, is off sick again today, and has a vacation day planned for tomorrow. Sooooo, yeah. Other than helping out the new guy, I plan on being less than perfectly productive.
How about this weather?? Holy crap it's nice out.
We got out kitchen counters yesterday and I'm really happy. It looks like they messed up the length on one of the pieces though, so, the smallest section doesn't fit. However, it's for sure their mistake, so I'm going to insist that gets fixed properly, instead of just jury-rigged at home. I'll try and snag a picture when I get home tonight if it's still light enough!
Tonight I've got my regular appointment at the doctors and Derek's got an interview! It's for a company that just got a contract to install flooring throughout nursing homes allllll over Southern Ontario. It will also give him an in with a company that does work for the company my mom works for (property management company with dozens of apartment buildings in our area) which would be great. If he can get a job close to the house, we'll be sailing!

The weather here is crazy. Mon & Tues it was in the low 60's, and then yesterday and today low 40's. We even had a dusting of snow lastnight (which isn't out of the ordinary this time of year), have to love Maine. Tomorrow it's supposed to be back in the 50's. I'm hoping that we get the call that they will be delivering Ryan's new Harley in the next few days as it is supposed to be beautiful on Saturday, and I would love to go for a ride before we go out for the night.
Lastnight was uneventful. Ryan made home made chicken parm for dinner (which was fabulous). I absolutely love it when he cooks.
Tonight he is back to work for the next two nights. Oh well such is life. I hate it when it's his required weekend to work.
Today is my weigh in for WW. I was doing well for a while, but the past couple of weeks I have been bad. I told DH not to buy girl scout cookies (because I can't resist), but of course he bought 6 boxes! Thank god they are almost gone!
Good morning. I'm excited because Josh is coming home tonight after being away since Saturday. Yay!
Other than that, nothing much going on. I have to turn in my short story today (eep). I also have some long meetings on the calendar that I'm not looking forward to. Ah well.

Jordan's baseball practice last night went great. There are some really nice kids on his team and they all wanted to talk to him and find out his name and where he was from and they all wanted to "help" him. It was really nice. I hope he can make a couple of friends before school starts. He is so shy.
I am in a very good mood this morning. I bought a pair of size 8 jeans when my dad was in the hospital right before he died (2 years ago) I haven't been able to fit in them since preston was born. This morning I tried them for the first time in a while and they are actually to big. All of my pants are to big DH says I look like I lost a family. I am going to try to sneak off this weekend and buy me a couple of new pair and Jordan some shorts but we have lots of painting to do.
Tonight is soccer practice night and I plan on walking the track while Jordan practices. I love the weather here. It isn't getting dark till close to 8 and the high today is 85.

I think it rained here this mornIng and it still looks a bit cloudy but if it clears up I'm definitely taking Darian out to the playground again. And possibly the library. They were closed on Monday, oops. Otherwise just catching up on laundry. It's been a busy week. Yesterday I also had to take my camera in for repair because I dropped it and the lens focus mechanism got whacked. So stupid of me. I'm expecting a call today to tell me how much the repair will cost.

I just got home from my regular OB appointment and things went well. My OB wasn't there, though, so I saw someone else and she was nice. DH came with me so he could meet my regular OB, though, so that was unfortunate. Baby sounds good and I did end up gaining 1 pound from my appointment 2 weeks ago so that's good. For some reason I had it in my head that they didn't do the GBS swab until 37 weeks but I guess it was today. It's not bad at all.
Now I'm off to work. I only got 3 pages on call last night and the last was at 10pm so I was able to sleep. Hopefully tonight I'll just rest and get more thank you cards done.
I know my doc does the GBS test at 37 weeks, but only because I asked about internals and such last time. We're getting so close!! AHHH!!!!

Kyle's review went great yesterday. Better than expected actually. When he was hired they promised him a certain % increase at three months as long as he was doing well. I guess he's doing so good that they decided to give him more than they had promised. Obviously we were both really excited about that news.
Today not too much going on. I'm hoping to watch some basketball. We're having leftovers for dinner tonight so it should be a relaxing evening at home.
Good morning! Nothing much going on here. I'm just trying to wrap up loose ends before we go on our cruise Saturday. My boss seems to have not heard me the approximately 4 million times I've said I won't be here next week.
The pie last night tasted delicious, but it was runny. I used berries from my freezer and in a total dumb butt move didn't thaw them first, so it got watery even though I added extra flour to try to compensate. I cut a big slice for lunch today and overnight in the refrigerator seemed to help it out. Lesson learned.

I don't know what I'm going to do today. My plan was to go to a couple of different baby stores, but my hips and pelvis are killing me after walking around yesterday. This stupid SPD sucks. I hate being limited in my movement - especially because we don't have a car, so I have to move. I wish there was a way to fix it, but I seem to be out of luck on that front. Wearing the belt helps, but not as much as I'd like. I'll probably get to work refinishing my new nightstand.

Last night was super nice, I skipped school and opted to go home and take H for a walk. It was super nice just to have a low key evening.
Tonight is a massage and I'm very excited about it. I haven't had one since my prenatal one in November. This weekend is a busy one so I'm hoping to head home afterwards and just relax.

The weather here sucks. It's 45 and pouring. That's normal for this time of year but I really wanted it to be nicer out so I could take Edmund for walks.
I'm headed to work to pick up a birthday cake to drop off for a friend of my grandmas whose birthday was yesterday but they are playing bridge today. Then I get to go back to work for a short day and come home and take care of my sick husband.
I'm ready for him to be better because he has just been miserable for the last couple days and just can't get anything done. Plus he is a big baby when it comes to being sick and refuses to go to the doctor.
Edmund is finally feeling better. He has a slight cough still but it's not nearly as bad as it was. Now I'm just hoping that I don't get whatever my husband has because I don't want what he has.

Good morning! Last night was pretty low key, I went for a walk and came home and did some weights and core exercises after that, then we had a nice dinner and watched a little TV.
Today I'm going to lunch with some coworkers to celebrate a birthday. Tonight I have a Young Professionals networking event, which I normally not very excited about but the restaurant that's hosting it has to die for margaritas so I'm actually pretty stoked!
ETA: Crystal - way to go on the weight loss, that's awesome!

I'm exhausted today. Yesterday was a long day. I was on my feet in heels from 4am until 6pm. Flew to Portland and back, which is a short flight but still clearing security and waiting at airports isn't all that fun.
Good news is my event went well and I really liked the venue. My bosses seemed really happy about having me there and how smooth everything went.
I also had a breakfast hotdog and it was amazing. I know it sounds weird, but yum.
