How'd everyone do this week?

QOTW: If you could spend any day doing a physical activity how would you spend your day( hiking, swimming, skiing, horseback riding... you get the idea)? Money and gear don't come into play for this question

  • I didn't lose any weight. Taco Bell and Subway are to blame for this, and ya know, me, for eating it. I did a lot of walking though. 4.75 miles on Tuesday, 3 miles Thursday, 5.25 miles on Saturday.

    When it's warmer out, I like to get a group together and go out to Loudinville OH to take kayaking trips. It's always a lot of fun.

  • I managed to lose 1.2 making it a cool 27.2 lbs gone! I was happy with that since, on top of an already sendentary week, I managed to get a cold, and that really slowed me down.  I was at a seminar on Tuesday (6 hours of sitting = not fun), plus it was Early Progress Report time and Parent/Guardian-Teacher Interview = a whole lotta sitting...So, as I said, I will take the 1.2 as a win!!

    There are a few things that I would love to do all day...

    1. snorkel/swim

    2. hike/walk and enjoy the scenery

    3. sit on a boat. soak in the sun, play guitar and sing, and drink ;-)

  • Another 2 pounds gone this week. My goal this week is not to lose any weight. Which given my status in training equates to eating pretty much everything that isn't nailed down.

    I ran about 25 miles last week, including my final long run of 10 miles, which was at the best long distance pace I've ever run. I am so freakin' pumped for my half this weekend.

    If I were to do any activity like ever, it's be a day long riding excursion. I've been looking into horse trail companies for our vacation in Hawaii this summer, but I don't know if DH is on board with that :p

    I think that a day riding would be great! Good idea!! And a trip to Hawaii, that is perfection to me!! Enjoy that!!!

  • I had a pretty good week eating well and exercising... but it didn't show on the scale this week. I gained 3lbs, i lifted yesterday and have been running a lot. So I think I'm just retaining water. I KNOW it didn't gain 3lbs of fat. Plus, its dead week so I'm stressed, staying up too late and sitting at the computer all day. It's not fun to see the numbers go up but I'm not too worried about it.

    I have the Shamrock 5k next weekend. I'm running with a friend and DH is running the 8k. I bought a kiss me headband and green running jacket (always need more of those Big Smile ) for the race!

    I think that my ideal day would be spent out on the river fishing and hiking (without other noisy people) and pitching a tent somewhere off the trail and spending the night by the fire.

  • Hey ladies!  I was informed on the facebook group that you guys are still doing weekly weight in's :-)  I REALLY need to get moving on this weight loss thing!  I think a little accountability would help.  To be honest I haven't weighed myself in a while... I know about a month ago at my Dr.'s appointment I was STILL about 20 lbs heavier than my pre-pregnancy weight (hangs head in shame...)  We are taking a family vacation to Orlando in May, and I am hoping that I can lose a little before then so I don't feel as though I look like Shamu.  It looks like you guys weigh in on Mondays, so if you don't mind I'll probably jump into the mix with you all next week!  Here's to losing the baby weight!!!

  • We are planning on going the same week!! Yes we are planning on going to Disney because my sister currently works for them :) She works at the circ de sole show at downtown Disney.  We also plan on going to Seaworld.  My sister will be home for Easter so I'll get a chance to sit down with her and plan out our week.
