is anyone still watching alcatraz?

I'm still enjoying it although it can get a little too violent sometimes. It still is lost-esque enough for me that I'm interested. I'm just not rushing to the tv to catch an episode, I dvr it and fit it in sometime in the week.

Still watching, but the husband has dropped out. The stories on the individual inmates and guards are good, but it just moves so slow. I feel that I could have watched a few of the first episodes and this last episode and not missed anything important. I'm going to keep watching and continue to hope that something major happens soon.

DH and I stopped watching last week. It's getting too confusing and I can't keep track anymore. I just don't have the energy anymore.

We're liking it, but I had DVRd the Pilot + the next 4 or 5 eps & we sat down and watched them all at once. We DVR & usually watch over the weekend. I loved Lost, & this fills a little of that void!

Still faithfully watching!

I'd like to see more of the story develop though. It's just the same thing every week, with a different guy and a different crime.

I think that they're building on something with the guys with the copper (I think? or some other substance) in their blood that is magically healing. They're waiting on a match to heal the lady psych. Maybe that's what their research was? Maybe the researchers have been harvesting their blood for government use? I don't know...but it seems like that could be the start of the explanation for what's happened to everyone.

I like it. I admit, I am SO behind on episodes.

I think I've missed at least 3 or 4 weeks. I can't watch it when it shows live and I DVR GG. I need to catch up online but I'm usually too busy. I'll try to catch up this weekend, though.

Yup, the hubs and I still watch it. It is pretty violent, but considering what it's about, it makes sense.

We're still enjoying it, I hope they don't cancel it.

We're still watching, but like OP mentioned. We DVR it and watch it when we get to it as it's not a race to watch it as soon as it airs. I agree with pp that if we skipped a few episodes I wouldn't feel like we missed much.

we're still watching but I am not sure how much longer I am going to hold on. It's getting a little old and I don't really enjoy the whole present day story. I like it when they flash back and wish they would build on that a little more because right now I actually really don't care about the "mystery" of what happened, certainly not like with Lost when I was constantly trying to look for clues and figure it out. I just don't care too much

We're still watching, but whenever we fit it in. DH even forgot about it this week and it never caught his attention in the DVR que - I think that says a lot. I saw it from the beginning as having the potential to get repetitive and I think it has.

I'll keep watching, for now at least.

H and I are still watching it and enjoy it but I just can't get myself to like the blond chick - I can't even remember her name. To me it feels like they got the casting wrong with her.

We DVR it and watch it when we have time. I like the premise and the violence doesn't bother me, but it is a little formulaic.

I'm two episodes behind, but still watching. I like it - although I think I like it more than DH does. That's fine with me - then I have something I can watch when he's OOT. I would like to see more about the main characters, not just the inmates, but I still like it.

We stopped watching a few weeks ago. From what I hear, it's ratings are really low and it will most likely be canceled at the end of this season anyway.

Yes, DH and I DVR it every week and watch it on Friday nights. I agree - sometimes they go overboard with the violence. I have had to turn my head several times. But we love the plot.

it's funny, it's not the criminal violence that I have to turn my way from, it's the warden and jail crimes that get me! but I agree, the plot keeps me tuned in. And hurley, I mean doc. I loved when he finally asked out the ME last week and didn't catch on to her saying yes for a minute.
