Thankful Thursday

I'm thankful...

...that even though we couldn't get out the door in time for Storytime at the library, we still got out to Breasfeeding group so I could get some adult interaction.

...for boozey cupcakes

....for an amazing husband and a beautiful healthy baby girl

Re: Thankful Thursday

  • I'm thankful for:

    - Wonderful friends coming up to visit this weekend

    - Finally finding a hair dresser that I actually like. It's the first time I haven't walked out of a salon and had to redo the style myself or pull it back in a pony.

    - My family and DH for being a great sounding board and all of their support.

    I'm thankful for spring weather!

I'm thankful for maternity jeans that are so much more comfortable than regular jeans.

  • I'm thankful for my husband. He's so good at taking care of me. I don't know what I'd do without him.

I'm thankful for good health insurance and an understanding doctor who returns calls quickly.

I'm thankful for library ebooks and basketball to keep me entertained today!

  • I'm thankful for...

This little lion that is kicking and rolling around like crazy lately letting me know he/she is growing nice & strong..

For DH putting up with me when I get hormonal

For great friends at home who have managed to get my mom on board for a baby shower.

  • I'm thankful for...

March Madness! It's the only thing that gets me through this long month with no days off

My job, while staying home on the couch everyday would be my ideal (LOL) when one of those kids gets excited about reading or something "clicks" it makes my whole day.

My co-worker/mentor/supervisor--she rocks and I am so thankful I have had the opportunity to work with her.

And of course, DH, my fam, and friends :)

  • I'm thankful for Kraft Dinner (what I'm currently eating, though I know it's not that healthy).

I'm thankful for the nice weather and that because of Daylight Savings it's bright outside later in the evening.

I'm thankful I can get books from the library; I haven't had to pay for a book in a LONG time!

~ Liz ~ my read shelf:
Liz H's book recommendations, liked quotes, book clubs, book trivia, book lists (read shelf)
  • I'm thankful for happy, healthy puppies.

I'm thankful for DH and my family.

I'm thankful for nestie besties and friends.

I'm thankful for my job, bosses and coworkers. Especially all the "mother hens" (yes, this includes my male boss) that take care of me and genuinely care about my wellbeing and happiness and future.

I'm thankful I get to make Oreo cupcakes tonight.

I'm thankful my dizzy spell went away FINALLY (almost 24 hours of being disoriented = not cool). I am also thankful I had sweet puppies to snuggle me while I tried to nap/sleep it off last night, and sweet hubby to change my ice packs for my head and bring me things and tuck me and set my phone alarm.

I'm thankful we didn't lose power in this last major storm (my work was out temporarily for a few hours, and out rural communities will be out for 5-7 days in some places). So I guess I am glad I live in town too.

I'm thankful DH is at work the next three nights so I can have some much needed alone time.

I'm thankful I was invited to attend a community event (silent auction fundraiser) this weekend on behalf of work with some of my favorite coworkers. Tickets were $65, which is something I would never spend on my own, so I'm pumped to get to go and enjoy myself. I also get to dress up (it's 60s theme) and wear my go-go boots again!!!!

    My little loves
