Private Practice Spoilers

I can't watch this anymore. I was so glad they saved Erica. My mom's twin was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor when my cousins were 5 and 4. They have retarded its growth with radiation, but this hits too close to home :(

Re: Private Practice Spoilers

  • OMG I love how good Charolette is in the step mom/friend to Erica role. She has totally impressed me. The whole situation with Erica is heartbreaking though.

Am I the only one dying to see Amelia and Sheldon together? From the moment Amelia joined the cast, I thought they would make a good pair.

  • Sorry about your aunt!  I can't imagine watching a storyline so similar either.

I thought Amelia and Shelton already hooked up?

And does this mean we don't get to see the hot emt anymore?  Because he was half the reason I've been watching lately.

  • From a TV standpoint, I'm not surprised they're killing Erica off- I was actually more surprised when they saved her. Charlotte is really flourishing in her step-mom role and I think that's the direction they want to take Charlotte and Cooper in, which kind of makes Erica a superfluous character.

I am glad Corinne is gone. That storyline was so boring IMO. And incredibly random. I hate when shows do the whole "Oh, I have the family member that I'm SO close to but I have never even mentioned them to you in the last 5 years."

Amelia propositioned Sheldon a few times when she was drunk, and he turned her down. I don't remember them ever actually hooking up, but I might be wrong. Anyway, I definitely think a relationship between them is coming.

Is anyone else so sick of hearing about Ryan? I understand that Amelia would be sad and probably feel guilty, but they dated for about 2 weeks and she was so high the whole time she can probably barely remember any of it.

You summarized my thoughts exactly.  I love the way they are taking Charolette and Cooper's roles.  They have both grown so much this season, I love it.

  • I say this every week, but OH MY GOD I LOVE CHARLOTTE SO MUCH! Of course, the whole part with Erica dying was SO SAD, and I was sobbing, but KaDee Strickland is just doing amazing things with this role! My favorite part was when Mason ran up to her and was telling her that he was brave and strong so his mom would remember him smiling and then broke down in her arms. They were both amazing in that moment.

I am glad that Addison was happy for Amelia. I still have a sneaking suspicion that something involving Amelia's addiction and Addison's wanting a baby is going to go on there, but for now I am happy.

I am SO GLAD that Corinne is gone. I didn't enjoy that storyline at all and would actually be okay with less Sam too, except for I do like to look at Taye Diggs.

I am ready for boring Pete and boring Violet to get back together and be boring together. And I am also ready for Addison and Jake to get together. I liked that he introduced her to his daughter. I have never gotten the appeal of Benjamin Bratt, but I really like him in this role.

I am happy to see that, even though Grey's is a rerun next week, PP is new! It would be hard to have that really emotional ending with this week's episode and then take a break.

  • Omg I totally agree with pp... I'm sick to death of Ryan. When Amelia gave sheldon the Spiel last night about its Ryan's baby Ryans child blah blah blah I thought "enough already" And yes they barely were together and were so doped up I question why they're having her Cling to this as a meaningful relationship.... That hallway scene w charlotte and mason had me bawling. I was quietly ugly crying in my Bed while watching it.... So touching.
  • I know I'm in the minority but I really don't like how they are transitioning Charlotte's character into this soft, motherly role. I know characters grow but she is a completely different person than she was when this show started.

I agree they are changing her and making her a little softer, but I still think she is a strong and tough woman... but its just nice to see any softness in her, especially relating to a child....

  • I love this show, but JFC...can they not even attempt to make half way normal medical decisions? Crazy, never been done impossible brain surgery magically goes smoothly? Fine. I'll totally buy it. Putting her through the surgery & everything that went with it for everyone involved without ever even looking to see if the rest of her body was ridden with cancer?? Come on! Sometimes this show just tries too hard to do the most awful traumatic things possible.
