My boss is out again today. Wooooo!
I've been trying to get my experience record written so I can submit my application for my professional designation. It's rather boring to write. And is taking me a loooooong time. However, it's one of my goals for the year, and since I don't have many, I best be gettin' on it!
This weekend should be nice. Tonight we are for reals going to order appliances, which is exciting. Tomorrow my step-dad is going to take maternity pictures and then Sunday we have a family dinner to celebrate spring birthdays.
Re: Derek's interview thing yesterday. First off, he said thank you for all the well wishes. Turns out it was more of a meeting than an interview. And, the company is doing carpet installation, not hardwood. However, they're amiable to him working towards a management position. They want him to submit an official resume and go from there. He would, however, have to start out as an installer. If only this had come a few months ago, we couldn't have to pay to get our new carpet installed!
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

Morning, all. Last night was great--not only did Josh come home, but I found out the my little brother (about to graduate from MIT) was offered a job with a company in San Francisco. Josh and I are already planning a visit. We're so excited for him!
This weekend should be good. I have a half-marathon tomorrow--once we're done, some co-workers and I will be headed off to enjoy lunch. After that, I have some work to do for the review website, need to finish my book club read, and have some work to do for my last creative writing class. Monday's also my flex day, so I plan to do a bit of shopping that day.

Good morning. The boss is out and it's Friday. I have 80s tunes playing on Spotify already so that I can get loose end wrapped up today and we are having lunch with a former co-worker.
Tomorrow we are getting up at the azz-crack of dawn to go to the airport and Sunday we are having dinner with Neptoon. I'm very excited. I may try to get one or two pictures up to FB, but my fear of an outrageous cell bill means that I will be off-line until Thursday night some time.

I am so stoked it is Friday that it isn't even funny. I have put a focus day sign up in my cubicle, but it honestly is only for one of my co-workers. I can't deal today, she comes to my office at least 5 times a day, and it is only for confirmation on what she is doing, and not actual questions. I'm so over it.
Tonight DH is working so it will be the boys and I. Tomorrow after DH gets up, we are bringing the boys to my MIL for the night, and we are actually going to a local pub with friends to celebrate St. Patty's day. As much as I am looking forward to an adult night out, I am not looking forward to the crowd.
Sunday, DH has to work that night, so after we go get the boys, I will probably be outside most of the day with them. It is supposed to be beautiful, and I want to take advantage of it, and not be couped up in the house.

Today I have lunch with my new boss and my friend? I guess. I think it's really odd that she'll be there to discuss details.
Last night was a ton of phone calls and updates about my current boss. (For those of you who don't know the story, I finally got my job offer at the law firm I've been talking to since November. That was Wednesday. I intended on giving my notice today after lunch and details were hashed out. Yesterday, my boss had a mild stroke and is in the hospital.) Looks like she'll be back within a week or so, but they're running a ton of tests today, so who knows. We're on spring break at the college next week, so she really doesn't need to be here, as much as it kills her not to be.
Tonight will be cleaning and cooking, because game night for tomorrow got moved to our house. I loved getting the email from DH's coworker to let me know. haha. It'll be fun to have friends and a little party.

This weekend I am studying and going to the Atlanta International car show! I love cars it should be fun.

Phil took the day off, so we just finished breakfast and we're heading out to the Distillery District and the St. Lawrence Market for our 3rd Annual Day o'Fun (we always do this the Friday of March Break). I'm looking forward to getting out and walking around, though I'm sure my hips and pelvis won't thank me tomorrow.

Good morning! Today I'm working until noon then going home to take a nap. I was up most of the night horribly congested and ended up with a bloody nose, yuck! Tonight we're meeting some friends for happy hour.
This weekend I'm hoping to get a lot of stuff done around the house and spend some time outside since it's supposed to be in the 70's all weekend!

Good morning all! I'm feeling pretty good today - D slept for 6 hours straight! We have a play date today with my friend from prenatal class. Tonight we'll probably go out for fish & chips for dinner again. I'm so excited that we found a good place nearby. The area we live in now is pretty sparse on good dining.

My current office doesn't know I'm leaving yet, formally. My coworker knows I got the offer, and my boss' boss was told last night when she called to tell me about my boss' hospital stay. I already knew about it, so that was a pointless call, but I was glad she now knows my letter of notice is coming. I don't have a choice but to just get the ball rolling with my boss not in the office. Just really bad timing.

reba and Neptoon - have a great time, and I definitely expect a pic of the GTG, especially since I was so bad at taking one when I met up with Neptoon last year!
It's been a busy couple of days with the move, but we're now into our new flat. Everything went smoothly yesterday until the movers tried to get our big sectional sofa in, and it was just not happening (pivot, pivvooootttt!). So we're going to have to say goodbye to that couch, and head out shopping this weekend.
We did get a fair amount unpacked last night, but are quickly figuring out we have way too much junk and way too little space to put it. I see a huge purging in our future, which is probably long overdue to be honest. You would have thought we'd do that before bringing it all across the Atlantic 3 years ago, but that would have made too much sense
So yeah, that's our plan for tonight and the weekend.

Tonight Jordan has baseball practice. I am hoping to get done with ball practice in time to make a quick target run to see if I can't find Jordan a couple of pair of Shorts to wear to school next week. He has zero shorts.
Saturday He has a soccer game at 9am then it will be off to the house to do lots and lots of priming/painting I hope.
Sunday will also be spent at the house. I am hoping to get everything primed and at least go buy our paint. I would love for DH to install the new attic stairs but we will see. FIL is suppose to come out saturday afternoon to hook up our gas.
Wow, I can't believe how crappy my work day is going. I've been here since 7am and I'm just getting my lunch now, at just shy of 2pm. I'm going to be here SO late today.
I ended up finding a med incident that took over 2.5 hours to rectify and I keep getting paged for other issues. I'm turning my pager off when I'm supposed to be done at 3pm and they can just deal with it.
I really wanted to go to the gym after work but I'm thinking that wonKt happen now.
FIL was helping DH put some pictures up around the house and DH just texted me that MIL is there too. This irritates me because she doesn't help and just snoops around my house. Ugh, if she touches or moves any baby things,I'll flip out. Deep breaths.
Currently I am sitting and waiting for Ed and my a/s. I have to pee so badly my eyes are watering. I am nervous, even though I have no real reason to be. Then I have to go back to school tonight for a dance. Tomorrow I am sleeping...possibly all day.
