Just did pilates with my 5yr old DS : )
I actually talked him into doing the dvd with me! I love when he exercises with me. He had a difficult time (but so did I at some points), but he did the entire 22 minutes.
I'm happy that I got a work out in at home since I can't take my sick DS2 to the gym daycare this week : )

That is so great! Teaching young kids to be active and fit is such a great thing and it sounds like you are a great role model for him
P.S. On an off topic note, I LOVE your screen name! I am a HUGE HIMYM fan...this season has been sooo good!
I'm trying to be a good role model, though I'm sure I don't always succeed.
Also...I love HIMYM!
Your running post earlier made me feel really good. I'm slow and have never done a race, but I still like to get out there and do it!
Awesome! My 5 year old DD started doing the 30 Day Shred with me in Feb, and did most of the exercises the first week or so.
Now, she does some here and there but mostly critiques my form and tells me I'm not working hard enough.
Very cute
Every once in a while I think of you & wonder if you are getting a chance to take advantage of your gym childcare. My DD has been sick this week, too, so I've been trying to get my workouts done before she and DH wake up. I can't wait to get back on our normal schedule!
2012 Races: 3/18 Shamrock Shuffle 5k; 4/14 E.R. Race for Autism 5k (PR! 25:58); 6/9 Riudoso Sprint Triathlon; 6/24 Chunky Monkey 10K; 7/29 Cochiti Lake Olympic Triathlon; 9/16 Chips & Salsa 1/2 Marathon; 10/21 Duke City 1/2 Marathon; 12/2 Rock & Roll 1/2 Marathon in Vegas!
Haha. The one time DS did the 30 day shred with me, he used the small weights I normally use, and I used some that were a few pounds heavier. I thought I was going to die. He stopped in the middle and said "I need a nap!". He doesn't even take naps anymore, so he must have really needed it : )
I hope your DD feels better soon! Honestly, I have been slacking big time. So I've really been trying to motivate myself these past several days. I'm forcing myself to drink 3L of water a day. I used to drink much more, but have since replaced it with too many caffeinated (sp?) beverages
.
Im awful about caffeinated drinks
. I always try to have a big glass of water before and after. It seems to help...yet I'm still 10lbs above pre-pg weight, ha.
Healthy wishes for your little guy!

2012 Reading Challenge
So cute, and good for you for encouraging him to be active!
I started doing very light ab work a couple of days ago (just had a c-section), and my 2.5 year old daughter got down on the floor and did some bird dogs with me
. I just about melted as I watched her try to figure out how to lift her opposite arm and leg.
