NPCR: Dress me..
My friend is hankering to go to Providence for this event at
CHIFFEROBE
(www.chifferobecabaret.com) called "In Cleopatra's Company."
This is how it is described..
General Admission will include a surprise parade entrance by the Extraordinary Rendition Marching band, with a performer carried in on a litter. As soon as the band stops playing, several variety performances ballet en pointe, a mummy fan dance, belly dance, and more will happen. For the remainder of the night, DJ Mr Morris will keep us moving on the dance floor. At some point, there will also be another set of variety performances. "
My friend wants us all to dress up and thinks we should be wearing 20s flapperish costumes.

When is the event? Do you have time for shipping?
I'd check out Zara for some very simple shift dresses that you can wear long pearls with and jazz up your hair. Maybe get some elbow length gloves and T-strap shoes.
