I think what she said was pretty rude. She called you a "BABY". I'm only 15 and some of the replies on your post really bothered me. It might be the fact that I'm young so I understand how you feel. Sorry that your boyfriend acts like that but congrats on getting your GED!

Sweet mother of God. I'm really blown away that all those posters are basically telling her to stay with the dbag, don't go to college, be content with her GED and to realize that "that's just the Mexican way". And honey, it's totally ok that you don't understand what blended family means!
Ok,not all of those posters, but there are very few voices of reason in that thread. Ugh.
I also loved the person who said that college was a waste of money and that all the people she knows who are doing really well have no formal higher education.
Okay honey... take a gamble that you'll have the same LUCK (because that's all it is) that this handful of people had. Enjoy working at Duchess in the meantime... waiting for your risk to pay off.
