I'm just seeing the one guy right now, and have remained friends with a few others. And I'm really starting to care about this dude, but it's a short-term thing. He's another phD guy who just passed his dissertation and is leaving in a month or so to find fame and fortune, lol. We knew it couldn't get too serious when we first started seeing each other, but I know both of us would have liked it to be, if we stayed in the same city.
So it's a little sad, but we're enjoying as much time together as we can, while he's here.
I am the least safe person around, seriously. I trip over thin air, I get tangled in cords and my jacket and hair and occasionally choke while breathing. I am totally accident prone. We just had our first meeting and it was laaaaaaaaaaaaaame. Didnt help that I was already bored to begin with. I finished my day's work at 10am
I'm ready to drink now.

At my job we have safety committee HATS. If your wondering if the committee members have to wear them to the meeting, the answer is yes. What a crock of sh!t.......
I was going to ask in the meeting if we get Safety Committee sashes a la Hall Monitor, but I bit my tongue and made a lot of faces instead.
SO this morning I saw someone post a cupcake to your fb wall and I just couldnt help but laugh and think that you were going to have a fantastic day because of that.
Go read all of the posts on TB in the voice of Sarah Palin. They will make more sense.
That is good for minutes, possibly tens of minutes, of fun.
