and dreaming. I so wish it was a reality. The in laws brought up the ol' 'this is still our house' card tonight and I'm about to lose my mind.
I just want to jump in my car and take Wyatt to my Mom's. I want Lance to realize the strain that this is taking on our marriage. I want a house of my own. I want to start out with no furniture and collect it over time rather than the other way around.
I'm sorry for the super downer post, but it has been a really long stressful night, and calving season could not possibly be over soon enough. I'm already sick on this bullsh!t.

Re: I'm looking at houses...
Thinking of you... hang in there!!
I'm sorry, every time I read your posts about your house/ILs I get so mad for you. I wish I had some advice, but it seems you've already tried multiple times to help the situation.
Can you and Wyatt leave for a few days to help ease the stress for you? Go take a mini-trip to see your family, let off some steam, and not have to worry about the ILs or the calves.
That is BS that they are playing the "this is our house card". If I was you I would totally get away and go visit your mom. And I'd make some snarky comment about how I was leaving "their" house as I went.
I'm sorry you are still dealing with this.
I'm so sorry Caitlyn! That's definitely not cool and though I'm not in your shoes I can only imagine how horrible of a feeling it is.
I totally get why you want to start with nothing and get your own furniture, honestly it's something that is fun for every couple.. getting their own things! I also wish that Lance would be more supportive of you and get why you get so frustrated with his parents and stand up for you and tell them to get lost (so to speak). He should be telling them yes you own this house, but you decided to let us live in it so for the time being it isn't "your home" it is "our home" and it goes based on our decisions not yours while you stay here.

This. I'm sorry that you have to deal with this yet again. I'm glad you'll be able to get away the next time they are coming.
