I don't know why but I didn't think that Owen was going to have really cheated... I thought they were setting her up to be making crazy assumptions - and that he was not wanting to be with her - but not a cheater!
Dr Weber -- aw, I love how much he loves his wife. Its nice that they have him so dedicated in the face of his wife having Alzheimers
I'm glad Derek didn't give Meredith the cold shoulder after the neuro screw up... I thought we were going back down that road again.

If it's Kepner I will quit watching this show! I couldn't believe they went that route with Owen. Even afer all the drama they went through I just don't find it believable that he would cheat on Christina.

Isn't Kepner still a virgin? They've had that as a running "joke" for a few episodes.
I have a hard time liking Dr. Weber because of the affair, but at least he's trying to do right by her now.

I thought it was a good episode but I hate that there were two weeks of reruns, one new show, and then reruns again next week! WTH
I don't think there are many options for who he could've cheated on her with other than a non-character (someone from the bar or a nurse we haven't seen before, etc). Definitely not Teddy.
I'm also so glad Derek didn't start ignoring Meredith. That plot line is tired.
I agree with you on both accounts. I would be really surprised if it was Teddy.
I hate it when shows do this and go reruns for a while and then just do 1 episode before more reruns. I would rather do more reruns up front and then keep the new episodes together.
I can't imagine that it's Kepner. I think it will be someone random who is not a character on the show currently.
I think the thing with Alex and Morgan is kind of dumb. I don't know that it's inappropriate that it's a resident and an intern, but I do think that she is not in the right place to be getting involved with him, and his intentions in their time together are very different from hers. I see this spelling disaster at some point. Once again, as a NICU nurse, I had major issues with the medical side of the baby's case, but they will never fix that because there do not appear to be actual neonatologists consulting on that show at all.
I was feeling icky about the thing with Richard and Avery's mom and was happy he didn't go with her to the dinner. I did enjoy the surgery and stuff, and I loved Bailey's reaction to the whole thing. Chandra Wilson's facial expressions were the best!
I liked the whole thing with Derek and Meredith and Lexie. I did find it weird that Derek was doing three different neurosurgeries at the same time, especially considering one of them was the baby. We have many EXCELLENT neurosurgeons where I work, and not one of them would ever come up and surgery on one of our preemies.
I am disappointed in Owen. I probably would not be as upset about this if I were not someone who was cheated on last year, but I think that Christina should cut her losses. I have always liked Owen, but this is a real d-bag move.
I must be in the minority, but I missed Teddy this week. But I was happy that Avery got some!
I really wish Owen and Cristina would get back together.

I don't think Lexy should have gone right ahead removing the tumor when Dr. Shepherd wasn't in the room. She truly deserved that lecture.
2012 Reading Challenge
Isn't she married? If she's single I agree, but if she's married, not so much. I know Der was married to Addison when Mer and him were together, but they were separated and then it was just a hook-up here and there, right? They were trying to stay apart and not have a relationship behind Addy's back. They're making it look like the intern is searching for a serious relationship with Alex and if she's married, sh!ts not okay.
A lot of cheating storylines this week.
I'm surprised to see so much Cristina hate. I love her. I might love her more than Mer. I'm not a fan of Owen at all. He didn't even tell his mom he was home from war. He broke up with his fiance in an email. He has experience with PTSD, but instead of letting her find her way, he pushed her to surgery and then bullied her for not being back to normal like everyone else. Dude's a d!ck. Cristina can do better.
No, this is exactly what I think. I think he said it to hurt her. When she told him she was going crazy and that she thought he had been cheating and now hearing that he loved her so much was a relief, he had such a look of shock on his face. I DO think he loves her. I think he can't look at her or touch her because he can't stop thinking about their baby. So he made up cheating on her to hurt her, the way he feels she hurt him. Of course, he couldn't let her think it was Emily (is that her name?) because that makes it too personal, but yeah. That's just what I think.
He's coming home super late, yes, but when she called the hospital super late that one time, and the other time when she just showed up, he WAS there. I don't think he's off cheating. I just CANNOT see that. I think he's completely pulled away and is freezing her out, and at the same time, can't even go to his former best friend and talk to her about it because she hates him. The situation sucks. He lied, yes, (IMO) and he's wrong for that, but I think he just wants everyone off his back so he can mope and be numb by himself and not have to force working on anything.
And no way is Kepner losing her virginity as the other woman. Why wait all those years for THAT?
I also can't believe all the Christina hate...I love Yang, she kicks butt! I have always thought the Owen was wrong for her...especially after the baby stuff. Maybe it hit a nerve because I don't want kids and I hate that "you'll grow up and change" additude that Owen had. Ick!
I also loved that they had Christina work with the guy who had to let his husband off of life support...I know it was supposed to be a parallel for her marriage, and it was perfect. (and Owen was a_douche when dealing with that patient too).
And poor Richard. This episode made me so sad for him. He has basically lost his spouse, but not really. It makes me sad to think about seeing my H, but not being able to talk like we do, him not recognizing me for me. Breaks my heart.
I liked the episode...hate that next week is ANOTHER rerun

I can't STAND Owen. He's an ass. Why would he pretend to support Cristina when she was getting her abortion and THEN, turn around and be all critical. Man up and own your damn feelings.
He knew who Cristina was/is and if he expects her to change because she's married, he needs to divorce her and get over himself.
If he did cheat, I hope Cristina leaves him. If not, well, I still hope she leaves him.
And they bring Burke back because Cristina and Burke was a good couple. Minus his mother.
