recommend your Garmin or other GPS device...
I have dabbled with running on and off and know that it can do great things for my body to aid in weight loss. I am looking for a GPS device to wear when running to track my workouts with... I know a lot of you use Garmin so suggest the device you use and why you like it!

Garmin 205, 305, and 405 are the ones most people seem to have.
I used to share DHs 205 with him and now i've "upgraded" to a 405.
The only difference between the 205 and 305 is that the 305 has a heart rate monitor.
The 405 also has a heart rate monitor. Personally, I rareley use the heart rate monitor and i've been kind of dissapointed in the 405. It seems the only improvement is it's size (its much smaller and looks a lot more "watch like" than the 205 and 305), but it needs to be charged like 10 times as often as the 205 and I find the whole bezel think kind of annoying.
It really depends what exact features you are looking for, but that should get you started.
