Anyone else staying in tonight?
Thursday night drinking to celebrate a friend's acceptance into grad school, coupled with lots of drinking last night with D, coupled with OKC guy's (and mine, honestly) desire to avoid the drunken crowds means that I think I'm just going to be spending a quiet night at home.
A little sad that I didn't get to show off my new green shirted outfit (went with a dress for the date last night), but I think I handle the disappointment in exchange for not battling drunken idiocy.
Anyone else taking a break from the crazy tonight?

Re: Anyone else staying in tonight?
How was your date last night arborgold?
I'm home tonight too... so tired and hungover, thinking about going to bed soon (it's 8:00). My son just got back from spring break with his dad. Missed him so much! I don't know how I am going to survive a summer without him.
Sorry to hear about your son.
I'm sure you've talked about him on the board before, but how old is he? And is the arrangement you have him full-time during the school year, and your ex has him over the summer and during spring break?
In re: the date. It was...good. Six(!) hours long, two locations, didn't want to leave, etc. There was definitely some chemistry, though I'm wondering if that was helped along by the alcohol - always a gamble in these situations. I suppose we'll find out tomorrow - we're getting together to watch the season finale of The Walking Dead. Hopefully things go as well sans alcohol as they did with the bottle of wine.

So glad to hear your date went well! I have a new motto... don't drink and date. I met a guy yesterday and had way too many margaritas. Never a good idea. He's the kind of guy I'd like to see again but I doubt that's going to happen since I'm a lush
My son is 6 1/2. His dad lives 1000 miles away so he gets to have him for spring break and all summer. This is the first year we are doing this so it's going to be rough
I went to a friend's house for dinner and got a shamrock shake to celebrate.
I am not big on these kind of holidays anyway. I hate drunk crowds and hangovers.
