Well, it might be tomorrow, but whatever. I can't remember.
One year ago today, or possibly tomorrow, I started an 8 week fitness challenge through work. I went from walking maaaaybe 2 miles a day (to and from work) with no other exercise to doing 45 mins on the elliptical 5x per week.
Then, when the challenge ended, it was boring for me to keep up the stupid elliptical with no weekly reporting/accountability to my team, so I floundered for a couple of weeks and then started looking for something new.
In June and July of last year, I started running with C25k and lifting with NROLFW. Then, in January, I added in 2 days each of spin and PowerFlow (yoga/pilates combo).
My weight hasn't changed since September, but I definitely feel more fit.
Overall, since the beginning, I've lost 10lbs and around 11-12 inches.
I don't have any before pictures, but these jeans were the last pair that still fit me (and were definitely approaching snug territory) before I started:
I'm very proud of myself.
