Looking for a large wide-brimmed hat that can be packed...
I'm looking for a large wide-brimmed hat for vacation. Since we'll be flying, I want something that can be "packed" into a suitcase and still "spring back into shape" when we unpack.
I've heard great things about San Diego Hat Company, but at $50 a hat, are they worth it? Can they be smushed into a suitcase and "come back to life" without being misshapen?

I was coming into here to rec San Diego Hats! They are amazing!!
I have this one and it's amazing. Very easily foldable and just pops back into shape, no wrinkles, and it's SPF 50. It's flattering on my head and I got so many compliments on it last year. I have the tan one and am planning on buying another colored one this summer. When you pull it out of your suitcase it will look brand new still.

san diego hat company is totally worth it. another good company to check into is goorin brothers. they're a much smaller company; but the quality of their hats is unparalelled.
i have this one, and you can adjust the brim however you like. i get tons of compliments on it, and wear it to the beach constantly. it's been in and out of suitcases, and springs right back to life.
(sorry, googlechrome won't let me make a clicky right now...)
