tacky or ok for baby shower favor?
I was at World Market today and saw tiny bottles of cava. I forget the brand but they said BAMBINO on them. I am throwing a baby shower in June for a friend so got a bunch of these to give out as favors. Now I am second guessing myself and maybe it is tacky to give out booze at a baby shower???

I think its kind of weird to give alcohol at a baby shower
but if it had been at mine I would have thought it was clever & cute!
I'm not a drinker but I'm going to approve if the baby is a boy. If it's a girl the bottles should say BambinA

I've never been to a baby shower that didn't include booze. The last one I went to we chugged played a game to see who could chug champagne out of a baby bottle (with nipple!) the fastest. It was a hoot :-)
I wouldn't be offended by getting booze at a shower. If you know of anyone who doesn't drink, then maybe get an alternate favor for them.

I love the cava idea--would have adored this as a party favor. My only question would be whether there are other pregnant women at the shower (or others who dont' drink), in which case, I might have a few non-alkie options.

I think cava is totally acceptable. Babies are a celebration, is it not?!
Pssh, booze keeps. That baby won't stay in forever!
