Do we need a walk through?
We're closing tomorrow - we're buying the house as is. What is the purpose of a walk through? IS it simply to make sure they didn't take the fixtures with them? Do we really need one?
Our agent didn't seem to think it would be necessary. Thoughts?
Re: Do we need a walk through?
I would still do a walk-through. It takes 10-30 minutes, depending on how thorough you are and the size of the house.
Make sure they didn't take anything they weren't supposed to, make sure they took everything that they should have, and make sure nothing is damaged beyond what you agreed to purchase.
