Thank you card for referral from stranger
Hi ladies,
I don't post here often at all but I'm hoping for advice. I own my own business and got a referral from someone I don't know. I have no idea how he got my name or really why he referred a client to me. I'd like to send him a thank you card but I'm not sure what to say or if I should include a couple business cards.
I normally say something along the lines of "thanks for the referral, I'll take good care of them, hope you enjoyed your vacation/your kids are doing well/we see each other soon/etc., signed me" but I feel like I need more - or something different - here. How would you write the thank you note?

I think it's great of you to send thank you cards for referrals. I would do the same process that you normally do:
The greatest gift I can receive is an outstanding referral so thank you for referring Suzie Q to me. I'll take great care of her and make sure she loves the service I provide.
I wish you the best and hope to see you in my (office? salon?) soon.
