Mine was pretty decent. Surprise bday party for one of BF's best friends on Friday night, which ended early, so we went over to BF's best friend's house and hung out with him, his gf, and another guy. Saturday, I had some video shoots for dance, then BF's bff and his gf came over to BF's house, and we had a cookout and hung out. Lots of fun! Brunch with BF's neighbors on Sunday morning, relaxing Sunday afternoon, then over to my friend's house for dinner with her and her FI.
Re: How was your weekend?
I watched The Descendants Friday night, thought it was really good.
Went out with my sister Saturday, got completely wrecked, made out with a guy, who I'm now meeting for dinner tomorrow.
Spent most of yesterday recovering, lol.
Friday-Went to the Houston Rodeo and saw Train in concert there
Saturday-ocean open water swim (thanks RP for the tips!). Second date
Sunday-ran 10 miles, church, errands, third date
I moved back into my condo and spent a big chunk of the weekend organizing and gettting unpacked.
There was a tornado last night, so it was nice having a finished basement to hide in, lol.
Had a pretty good weekend. Relaxed Friday night.
Saturday I had a great date with BR at a steak house but things aren't going to work out. He's what I'm calling "relationship stupid" and just doesn't get it. I thought I broke things off over email last night but he didn't even pick that up. Going to have to be more direct on this one.
Sunday I had a great day--went for a 2 hour walk and then to dinner with a girlfriend. So glad I'm making girl friends!
Friday after work I had my awesome date
I also got a new computer that I ordered for school, super exciting!!!
Saturday I went snowboarding, it was AWESOME, great snow, had lots of fun with my friend who I usually go with, had a few drinks at lunch and that was my St Patty's celebration haha
Sunday I just stayed home and chilled with the dog, played with my new computer, watched the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, and made a new chicken recipe that was darn good!
Mine was ok. I had to work sat to make up for missed time from taking DS to his appts.
Sunday I went to VA Beach for the day with the kiddos. It was nice but I forgot about the shamrock run that was taking place there, so everything was blocked off. I ended up having to walk down to the finish line in order to cross over to get on to the beach since they had a playground on the beach for this kids. It definitely gave my legs a work out. It also got me kind of excited about running the annual marathon event next year which gives me an entire year to work up to it.
Bad news is when I got back in to town I was at a stop light and messing with stuff in the floor trying to help the 10 yr old find something, I had flip flops on and my foot slipped off the break and rolled in to the person in front of me. There was almost no damage to the other vehicle and none to mine but the bolts to my license plate punctured her bumper which is costing me $500 in a deductible.
Becca, tornados are scary! Glad you guys are ok!
DDD, I'm always looking for new recipes...care to share?
Jaksmom, sorry to hear about the accident! Bummer!
Becca, glad you are okay!
Jaksmom, sorry about the accident but glad that it wasn't serious.
My weekend was pretty good. Went out to dinner on Friday with another couple, which was good but really rich. So, the rest of Friday night I was sicker than a dog and didn't sleep.
Saturday BF and I went and signed up for our boat slip then were lazy the rest of the day.
Sunday we went to church and then a lunch outing with other couples. Took the pups for a walk (it was 78 where I live--it is usually in the 40's this time of year) and then met our parents for dinner.

I had a great weekend!
Friday, I just hung out at home for the first time all week which was much needed.
Saturday, did a bunch of running around. Went in to fill out paperwork to refinance my car from a bank to my credit union and found out my interest rate is going from 5.24% to 2.45% which was great news. Met up with some friends for St. Patrick's day, and then met up with D that night.
Sunday, D & I went out for breakfast then I cleaned my entire apartment, went to the gym, and took my dog to the park. Then I went over to D's place and he cooked me dinner and we drank some wine, watched a movie, and just had an amazing evening!
Really fun!
Friday night we had a little b-day party for my friend's DS-he was three. He and P each got a cake and a candle to blow out and my friend and I killed a bottle of red wine-yum!
Saturday ran and had breakfast with my BFF. Saturday night over to BFF's house and then to dinner and out for drinks with J. BFF And her DH watched P overnight. I ended up staying the night at J's house and it was so nice. I am really starting to like him, which worries me a little because it's hard for me to let my guard down.
Sunday morning-grocery shopping and then to pick up P at BFF's house. I found out that BFF had taken a pregnancy test that morning and it was positive!!! I am so excited for her and her DH. They will be THE BEST parents! Sunday hung out with DS until he went with XH for his visit. J came over around 6 and we took my dog for a run and I made him dinner. I can't wait to hang out with him again!
The weekend was absolutely WONDERFUL!
Spent Friday night cleaning and packing.
Saturday BF, DD and I headed south to St Pete for the first race BF and I have participated in (I did a 5k and he did a half marathon) We hung out by the pool at the hotel with his mom and then met up with my auntie for St Pattie's day dinner.
Sunday was the race. We woke up late and made it there on time. DD hung out with BF's mom while we did our races. Afterwards we hung out by the pool until check out, had lunch and headed home.
The best part is that I no longer have two overflowing laundry baskets of dirty laundry. I just have 2 loads of laundry to fold. lol Oh yeah and that we talked BF's mom into doing the Iron Girl 5K with me next month. I'm excited to push myself harder and definitely beat my time for this race.
Mine was good, but busy!
Thursday I had a friend over to celebrate her acceptance to a prestigious MA program, and maybe overindulged on cheese, wine, and champagne.
Friday was my first date with D, and it went well.
Six hours and two locations worth of well.
Saturday I was supposed to go out, but decided I didn't want to brave the drunken idiocy, so decided to just have a quiet night at home. I watched Harry Potter - judge away - and organized my mac files.
Sunday I took care of some errands, and then D came over to watch the season finale of Walking Dead. After three weeks of messaging back and forth, it's great to finally get to spend time with him irl. I think I'm really starting to like this guy.
