What does your training schedule look like for the week? Monday: off, Tuesday: Track workout, Wednesday: 70 minute bike ride, Thursday: 3-4 mile easy jog, Friday: Swim, Saturday: easy jog, Sunday: Race!

Let's talk allergies. Are you allergic to anything? Do you get seasonal allergies? If so, how do you deal with your allergies? Allergic to amoxicillan (sp?), and I have seasonal allergies. Sometimes I even get hives when I do long workouts. I'm supposed to carry an epi-pen, but usually an allergy pill works fine.
Has Spring sprung where you are? Not really. It's rainy, cold and windy and probably will be until July 5th!
What does your training schedule look like for the week? - eh, I'm going to take it easy this week, both my foot and my shoulder hurts, so I'm going to rest up and try not to aggrivate anything

What does your training schedule look like for the week? M - 45 min AMT, Tues - 4.1 mi speedwork, W - 6 mi tempo, Thur - swim/lift, Fri - LR 18 mi, Sat - off
Any injuries or problems? so gross, but I have a corn in between my toes and it hurts like a be-otch.

This time of year is horrid for me when it comes to allergies. not only do I get itchy eyes/runny nose - but I feel like I've been run over by the train of exhaustion. I can never seem to feel awake and "good". This usually lasts for the entire month of April.

Has Spring sprung where you are? we have fall and summer here-nothing in between!
What event are you training for/date? nothing really but my next event is the 10 mile Parkway Classic. I'm running with DH who is a lot slower than me, so it will just be for fun.
What does your training schedule look like for the week? I'm coming off my first half marathon so this is just a chill week. Tues - easy 3 mile, Wed - maybe some strength training, Thur- maybe another 3, Fri- rest, Sat - 6 mile
Highlights from last week? First half marathon with RNR USA, it was a lot of fun, but tough at the same time. I'm happy with my time 1:53:36, but know I could have done better.

What does your training schedule look like for the week? No schedule. Taking it easy, then working back into training towards the end of the week.
Any injuries or problems? Just marathon soreness, which is surprisingly not too bad.
Highlights from last week? Shamrock Marathon epic awesomeness. Got a BQ and a Gansett Qualifier. Couldn't have gone better. You're not done hearing about this race yet.
Let's talk allergies. Are you allergic to anything? Do you get seasonal allergies? If so, how do you deal with your allergies? Not that I know of. I get very mild seasonal allergies in the spring, but they are just annoying and not really treatable. My mom has seasonal allergies and is also allergic to cats (I think my brother is too), so maybe I have allergies too. DH has pretty bad allergies, but he uses a Neti pot.
Has Spring sprung where you are? In Rhode Island, it's starting to. It's going to be warm this week. I'm kinda mad that I didn't have time to see the cherry blossoms in DC over the weekend. Oh well. Next time.

What event are you training for/date? 10 M on 4/1 and 4/22. thinking about bailing on the 4/1 10 miler though.
What does your training schedule look like for the week? freestyle intervals, weights, long run of ~8 mi

Highlights from last week? not really. I had a race. didn't really go the way I wanted. it's all terribly tragic.

Any injuries or problems? Sore, chafed, and was horribly dehydrated from my half on Saturday. Other than that I'm fine!
Highlights from last week? I PR'd RnR USA despite myself. I didn't think I was going to see the finish line, but I made it.
Let's talk allergies. Are you allergic to anything? Do you get seasonal allergies? If so, how do you deal with your allergies? Penicillin, and rats. I don't get seasonal allergies though I swear I'm allergic to Virginia (allergy tests say otherwise). I'm on prescription antihistamines.
Has Spring sprung where you are? Ohhhh yes. Windows are open, grill has been fired up, spring vegetables have been planted in the garden. Hooray!
What does your training schedule look like for the week? Mon- yoga for runners; Tues- upper body strength training; 3 mi run; Wed- 3 mi run; Thurs- yoga or rest; Fri- 3 mi run; Sat- yoga; Sun- race day!
Any injuries or problems? Knee is a little achy, I need to remember to keep icing it this week.

I get seasonal allergies but not too bad, usually just some congestion and sinus headaches. I do a sinus rinse when allergens are bad, seems to help. Most medicine puts me to sleep.
