We were thinking at attempting to put in stairs and a patio this summer but I'm second quessing our ability to finish the project correctly lol
I know this varies by region/project/materials but if you have had work done on your yard, what kind of price range was it? $1k? 5k? 10k?
I've gotten a few recommendations and the companies come out and do free quotes but just wanted to see if I could get a range before hand.

Re: Landscaping Question
We're looking into some landscaping this spring as well, but I think it's more of a regional pricetag than anything. And every home is different, you know? I honestly have no idea what to expect either, so it's going to be interesting when we start having companies give us estimates.
Besides, I'm just gonna have Christina come and do mine for me anyway, so..... ;p

All I know is that professional landscaping is expensive as hell. We got a few quotes last summer and after making this face several times
, we put it on hold.
Like MB said though, it varies drastically with how much work needs to be done and what kind of materials, plants, etc you're working with.
