In October I bought the MUFE starter kit from sephora.com, which came with the HD foundation, primer and powder. I've used MUFE HD foundation off and on for several years, but always wanted to try the primer and powder, so this kit seemed like a good deal.
I haven't used the foundation much over the last few months because I needed one with a little heavier coverage. Now that it's warmer outside I went to use it again and found that that the foundation has seperated (I just kept getting oily blobs when I tried to use it). The bottle is almost full, so I really don't want to throw it out.
Do you think that I can return this or will Sephora replace it?
Re: MUFE and Sephora question
I would explain the situation to them. They may offer you a partial refund or at least store credit for a part of the kit you bought. Call customer service and ask, can't hurt!
I have heard of people returning things that they bought elsewhere and sephora will take it back, so technically you could return it as a full price foundation without a receipt but I don't know if my conscience could take that haha.

Do you have the reciept? If not I know that Sephora has the best return policy. They will return things with a reciept new or used no matter how long it's been. If you dont have the reciept then you'll have to exchange or get store credit. Regardless how long it's been Sephora returns or exhanges everything. When I worked there a couple years ago, a women lost the cap to her perfume. Just brought in the perfume, and she exchanged it for a new one. I would take it into the store and tell them, and I'm sure they will exchange it.

Definitely take it back. You don't even need a receipt, I'm sure they'll give you store credit or at least exchange the bottle.
Also, FWIW, I think that's weird that it separated? I've had one bottle that I've used off and on for the last year and a half or so and it works just fine?
I just got the starter kit last weekend because my bottle was almost out and I love the powder, and for the price of the two I got the primer (which I also use and love!) and the kabuki brush. It's a really good deal!
I just called their customer service with no luck, they said it's been past 90 days, so they can't help! Maybe I'll try the Sephora we have inside our JcPenney's?
This is my third bottle of it and I've never had it happen before. I store it in a drawer with all of my makeup and I use it occasionally.
