Anyone use Sixt rentals cars in Florida?
We have trip planned later this year to fly into Ft. Lauderdale and drive down the Keys. Looking at rental car rates, Sixt is much cheaper than all the rest.
Reviews online say they are a bit unconveinant to get to, but most people liked their service and felt for the savings it was worth it.
Wanted to know if anyone has used them. If so, would you do it again?
If not, would you rent from this company? (savings is approx $150 for the whole trip- 10 days)

Prices are going to go up and down between now and later this year. We just got back from the Keys last week and after comparing prices on Expedia for about two months beforehand, Sixt was only about $10 cheaper than Thrifty, who we rented directly through. Thrifty is open 24 hours, and they're right at the airport. No shuttle or taxi.
Go ahead and reserve a car through Sixt, but I'd keep comparing prices right up until the day before you plan to leave. If I'd just blindly taken the first car rental price I found two months before we left, I would have paid $265 for a car I ended up paying $103 out the door for.
Plug your information into Expedia and bookmark it to compare prices through all the major vendors. Check it every day. Hell, check it several times a day. You'll be amazed at how much and how often the price changes once your travel date gets closer. I must have cancelled and re-reserved my car through several different vendors 20 times before getting that $103 price.
What road were you on where you couldn't pay tolls in cash? I know there are a few exits on the turnpike that require a EPass/Sunpass but the majority of the roads/exits have cash lanes.
You can buy a Sunpass transponder for $4.99 at many convience and grocery stores in FL. Then you go online, activate it and you get a $5.00 credit (so its free) and then you can use that when you drive on toll roads to skip having to wait in line and making sure you have change/money for the tolls. You might even be able to order it online in advance if you google Sunpass.
There is a bigger plastic transponder that you have to pay like $25.00 money for or there is the $5.00 sticker thing w/the chip in it that ends up being free.
From the Miami-Dade County line south, the turnpike is completely cashless.
Very good to now - makes the Sunpass that much better even for Tourist to avoid the daily fees rental car companies charge for using the ones in the cars already.
I forgot to mention before that you need internet access to activate it. I can log onto the website and add money to my account via my cell phone so I am guessing you could probably activate if you have an internet enabled phone too.
