Nora, I hope you don't mind that I posted this week. I thought we could mix it up a bit every few weeks?
Here is a Mommy-to-be GTKY..
1. What have you experienced this pregnancy that you weren't expecting.
2. What did you expect for this pregnancy, but you really didn't "get" or prepare for before hand?
3. What baby trend are you loving right now?
4. If you could buy any baby item, and cost didn't matter, what would it be?
5. What are some of the worst names you've heard of for a baby?
Anyone can feel free to add some other questions as well!
Re: Mommy-to-be Tuesday
1. What have you experienced this pregnancy that you weren't expecting. How annoyed I would get with the constant questions. "Are you excited/ready?" "How are you feeling?" I'm 8 months pregnant, what do you think? Grr
2. What did you expect for this pregnancy, but you really didn't "get" or prepare for before hand? The cravings and taste changes. I honestly thought that was just an excuse women used for yummy treats. Now I know better...
3. What baby trend are you loving right now?The baby wearing and cloth diapering! My local area hasn't totally caught on but I love all the books/blogs out there!
4. If you could buy any baby item, and cost didn't matter, what would it be? Hmm, this is hard. Maybe that Mamaroo swing? Or a really nice stroller like the City Mini?
5. What are some of the worst names you've heard of for a baby? A friend is naming her son Kayde. I am soo not a fan of that spelling.
Melko, I just wanted to say your pregnancy is FLYING by. I feel like you just announced your BFP.

1. What have you experienced this pregnancy that you weren't expecting. Absolutely loving my new body. I thought I would have a hard time with my stomach growing, because of weight issues I've had in the past, but I am feeling so comfortable with my new and growing bump.
2. What did you expect for this pregnancy, but you really didn't "get" or prepare for before hand? Nausea. I could imagine it in my mind, but I never really connected it to how I would be feeling. It's so strange to feel sick without there actually being something wrong with you.
3. What baby trend are you loving right now? Cloth Diapers! Two of my SILs CD, and DH was onboard long before I even thought about it. I know that they're not new, but I love that more and more people are using them.
4. If you could buy any baby item, and cost didn't matter, what would it be? A collection of items...a bunch of different strollers. I want the lightweight base for the infant seat, a new jogging stroller, a lightweight stroller for when LO is out of the infant seat...It's annoying to try to figure out our best options.
5. What are some of the worst names you've heard of for a baby? Twins that were named Dis'Twan and Dat'Twan (BIL works at a hospital, in the pediatric ER), King Arthur III as the entire first name (again, BIL told us that one), and a little less out there, twims named Heaven and Nevaeh.
I seriously can't believe how quickly it's gone. It dragged until about 10 weeks, and then BAM 17.
I feel the same about yours! I can't believe how quickly she's going to be here!
Um, YEA! I had a minor freak out today when I realize my due date is two months away. Excited and scared don't begin to describe it. lol
Any feelings as to what your LO is?

I totally second this! I read your entire babybocker blog last night just out of curiosity and I love the bump tab! It's so cute to watch the bump grow
Thanks :-)
I LOVE IT! I'm super swamped this week, plus I was having a hard time coming up with new stuff - thanks!!

Boy! I've had this feeling since I was about 5 weeks. Who knows, though. We have our a/s on April 3rd, but now we're planning a surprise gender reveal party for DH's family (and my parents). We're inviting everyone over on April 6th for cake and icecream to celebrate my birthday (my birthday is on Easter), and we're going to do it then. It's going to be tough not knowing for a few more days, but I think the build up will make it exciting.
I really wasn't into the idea of a gender reveal party at first, but DH's family is all into guessing what the baby is, and I've read of people being dissapointed about just hearing it from the tech in the ultrasound room. At the very least, everyone will still be there to celebrate my birthday.
