Firesky Resort in Scottsdale
Anyone been? What did you think? From the website and online reviews it looks great. We plan on spending our days by the pool with drinks in hand, maybe a couple spa treatments and lots of yummy food.
TIA!

Re: Firesky Resort in Scottsdale
The lobby is beautiful. I think we would have enjoyed it immensely if it were warm enough to swim when we visited as the pool area is very nice.
But honestly it's not up to my normal Kimpton standards because it's not a new building (it seems like they bought a motel and renovated it). This is most apparent in the room layout IMO.
It's still got a nice atmosphere, free wine, free coffee, pet friendly, etc. and so I did enjoy it.
Thanks ladies, this makes me feel good about our choice - sounds like exactly what we're looking for. I can handle a older hotel if it's got a kick-butt pool since we'll spend more time there than in the room :-)
