    Catch what?

Chick is in the AF, pregnant with a bf with a good job, wants to know if she should get or stay in, gets all butthurt when Ojo tells her that if she doesn't want to stay in that she should get out b/c she's a good Airman and there are plenty of slots for others. She knows this for a fact b/c she's in the AF. She told me to have a nice Air Force day when I told her to chill out.

  • I read it right before the DD and it basically went like this:

DDer: I'm KU and ADAF and my BF loves me but I don't know if I want to stay in because he can't get a job if I have orders and. What should I do?

SMW: We can't decide for you.

OJO: If you don't want to stay in then don't.

DDer: I'm a good airman!! You don't know meeeee!!!!!

BLT: She meant don't stay in because someone else could take that slot if you don't want it.

DDer: How do you know what she meant?!? Are you all besties!?!? I know there are billions of slots open because I AM IN THE MILITARY! Have a happy Air Force day!!

    Then DD.

  • They have it over on Family Matters, in a c&p.   This girl sounds like drama all around.

Fighting with her mom over her baby's name, sneaking and checking bf's phone, and a controlling mom.  All are there since she DD'd all of them.

  • What does "Have a nice Air Force Day" mean? I have never heard this before

I had to run after I responded, so I didn't see her response, but what a dumb thing to say.

It's a snotty retort that generally means, "F you," but won't get someone in trouble.

In case the beebee is still hanging out around here, by "us," I mean other people in the military and/or military community.  It sucks to work and deploy with people who, by their own admission, do not want to be in the military.

    DUH.

  • Yeah, she probably shouldn't be in the AF.

    Dear OP,

No one here has ANY idea what being IN the military is like at all.  NONE of us have ever spent a day in our lives IN the uniform.  You are obviously all knowing and better than all of us.  That's why you are in the situation you are currently in.  Good job.  Hope that works out for you.  Have a fabulous Army day.

Edit:  If she were such a good Airman, she'd know it's supposed to be capitalized.

  • I have a general dislike for any active duty member who considers PCSing a "problem."  It's an integral part of the job.  A person who is dead set against PCSing shouldn't be active duty.

Really, her situation isn't even a question.  Things like, "I don't want to PCS," and, "I don't want to reenlist," make for a cut and dry decision.  Awesome, they offer a paycheck...so does McDonalds.

I didnt understand why she got all upset when we told her to get out...  Ummm... you said "I dont want to stay active duty" and we responded "then dont" seems like a really effing logical response...

if she's reading, and she didnt read my response before deleting... we aren't mind readers. If you give us three sentences to go off of, then we only have three sentences to go off of. Not all of us are mind readers.

  • Oh ok. For her to be 20 she sure is acting like she is 12. She blamed her hormones for her issues, is this possible? Does pregnancy hormones really make us into huge beebees?

No.  I had a baby and managed to not go BSC.

I have known some people to turn into helpless wussies whose brains turned into mush the minute they got KU.  I was pretty normal until I got hungry and then I was like the man eating plant in Little Shop of Horrors.  "Feed me Seymour!!!"  One of my Sergeants back then said, "Man, you went from SPC TX to Major Biotch in 60 seconds flat."  He was right.

Hardly and I can't stand that excuse either.  Chances are if you're a giant PITA/indecisive waffle/cry baby while incubating a baby you were one before sperm met egg.

I think that hormones can cause some unusual sudden reactions but if you've already gotten as far as realizing that something you did or thought was hormonally driven then there's really no excuse for continuing to act that way.

In other words, it's not an appropriate excuse for "fantastic" behavior.

  • Apperantly she is DD'ing all over, they just caught her in one on T&P.   Something about her BF getting and deleting texts from some chic and its not the first.

That is to much drama for one person.

  • What a winner! i am always a fan of the ones who say stuff like "I am super mature and need advice so shut up you *insert random profane title here* and tell me what I want to hear!"
